Peridot's POV

Lapis and I were out on the town today because she convinced me to get my skull tattoo, but I wanted to take her somewhere to eat first, so I took her to Triple Two and bought her a latte frape and a cheese toasty whilst I had a English tea and a bacon bagget. We sat in a corner table next to a top to bottom window. "Are you excited? " Lapis asked me after taking a sip from her frape. I nodded my head and took a bite brom my bagget "Yes I am, especially since I told Squar she was so happy it made be bubbly. " Lapis nodded her head and finished her toasty. We talked for a while about what other tattoos we wanted, "how about a matching one? " I shook my head and laughed "what's so funny? " I hold Lapis' had in my and explain "matching tattoos are bad luck for relationship, "Lapis sighed and slouched down, "I just thought I would be cute... " I laughed a little and brought Lapis into my lap, "how about we get similar ones, like we get two different birds or something? " Lapis cuddled into me and smiled brightly "YES! Thankyou Peri. " She then kissed me which made my heart race, "I'm sorry... " I shook my head and kissed her cheek, "it's fine, I've always wanted to kiss you. " Lapis smiled and kissed me again.

After a few more moments sent talking and bantering and kisses mostly on the cheek we left for the tattoo parlor. "Peri wait! " Lapis said before pulling me in the other direction "Lapis were are we going? The tattoo parlor is this way. " I said pointing in the other direction but then I looked back I knew what Lapis was trying to hide. Amethyst. I pulled my hand away from Lapis and walked up to Amethyst and her group. "Oh hi Peri did you finally decide to come back to me? " Amethyst said then she spotted me Lapis came up behind me and held my arm, "No I didn't. " Amethyst and her group laughed, "then what for? " I shook my head, I didn't really know why, Lapis then decided to answer for me "She just wants to get a tattoo, so would you please let us pass? " Amethyst held her arm out and stepped out of the way sniggering as Lapis walk through, but before I could, the group jumped on me and pinned me to the ground, I heard yelling coming from Lapis as I tried to peal them off, you can't hurt my Lapis! I thought as I was stabbed in the side before I heard Lapis scream and then everything went black.
