A Curse or A Blessing.

Lapis' POV

Peridot seemed really out of it today, she woke up before me and didn't say anything until she told me that she bought me a place of my own. I protested but she's wouldn't have any of it. "Would you calm down Lapis? I just want you away from this place, you obviously don't like you here! " she shouted at me which made me cry, "Please don't make me go?! " Peridot went to hug me but then stopped "Lapis, I think you have PTSD. Anytime anything happens that reminds you of your uncle's friends you freak, and I don't want to be the cause of your break downs anymore." I cried and  ran to hug Peridot. She hugged me back and traced my tattoo. "I'm so sorry. " Shr cried into my shoulder, "please let me stay? I don't want to live along, I don't want to live with out you. " I pleaded, then Peridort pulled away a little and asked "you can't live without me? " I nodded my head and placed my hands on her lower neck. "There is something in me Peridot that is tell me to never leave you, maybe its my parents answering my prayers... " Peridot then pulled me close again and cried some more. "I get that same feeling. " she rubbed my back and I rubbed hers, I pulled Peridot to the sofa and sat in her lap. "I need you Peridot, I know you will keep me safe," I felt her breath in my sent which tickled me so I giggled. "I want to keep you safe, but Lapis how can I do that if I'm causing the problem, we can't just leave the gang. " I cuddled into her more and thought of something, "how about, I get tested for PTSD and then go to a therapist? " Peridot smiled at me, "that sounds perfect, I'll call my specialist right now, and also Lapis, you don't have to pretend to be a gang leader anymore." I hugged her tight after that and grabbed the phone for her.

After the phone call Peridot and I just sat on the sofa and cuddled, I still don't know what this feeling is, but what ever it is, I hope it doesn't go away. After a little while Peridot stood up and carried me down stairs, "where are we going? " I asked into her neck, a little sleepy now. "I need to get my work out in. " I blushed bright red when she said that which made her laugh. Peridot then took me into the basement where there was a full blown gym. Peridot put me down on a weights bench and went into another room. She came back out in work out clothes and started to warm up. After Peridot started her work out about orange cat with a few open wounds appeared in the room. "Pumpkin! " I heard Peridot yell as she stepped of the treadmill and ran towards the small cat.

Peridot picked up the cat and checked the wounds. "My poor girl, why do you fight that smelly dog? " I stood up from the bench and walked over to the small cat. "Hi Pumpkin. " I said whilst stroking her fur, Peridot looked at me and I asked with my facial expression what happened. "Pumpkin's sister lives in a house across the road, so Pumpkin goes to visit for a few days, but next door lives a dog and they fight a lot. " I nodded and continued to pet her. "Can I help clean her up? " Peridot nodded and placed Pumpkin in my hands, "what a cutie, lets go get you cleaned up. " I said to the small cat as I took her towards a first aid table in the gym and opened up the bag, Peridot went back to her work out so I took the matter into my own hands. "Lets see here... " Rubbed the open wounds with an alcohol wipe and then checked the thickness to see if she needed stitches, which lucky she didn't, "I think just some meds will do for you. " Pumpkin kissed my nose which made me smile and it gave me the perfect time to give her the medicine. She hissed a little but then went back to purring. I placed the cone on her head which she didn't seem to mind. I put her food in a bowl that Holly Blue brought me and let her eat at the table.

Peridot then came up behind me and pulled me close to her, "I'm done with my work out, so I'm going to go for a shower. Bring Pumpkin up with you and just sit in your room and watch the telly, okay? " I nodded my head and watched as Peridot left the room. I went upstairs with Pumpkin in my hands and sat on the bed. I turned on the telly and watched Garfield. I laughed at the movie when Peridot came in, she sat on the bed with me and cuddle with me whilst petting Pumpkin.

"I'm sorry, I tried to push you away. " I  cuddled closer to her and said, "I'm sorry I didn't trust you. "
