Lapis' POV

It's almost midnight and Peridot hasn't come home yet from a job that her gang had, I don't know what it is, I just hope they don't get hurt, but tomorrow Peridot wants to get her skull tattoo so that will be fun. But is really late and I can't sleep without Peridot so I'll be tried tomorrow. Fun. I called Peridot but it went to voice mail, so I tried again a couple more times before she picked up, "hey Lap-is" her words were slured and she sound drunk, "were are you Peri? I want you home, " I heard someone talk in the background and then a gun fire, "what was that?! " I asked Peridot really worried now but she simply laughed and said "som-eone did-nt have her sa-fet-y on. " I shook my head and asked again "Peri when are you coming home? " Lapis chuckled and said "soon baby soon, " I blushed a little but she was drunk so she didn't mean it.

Pumpkin then cuddled into me on the bed so I brushed her with my hand until I heard Peri say "I-m on our st-reet. " I smiled in relief and we said our good byes before I shut off my phone, I heard people yelling not a few minutes after they seemed happy enough, I then heard foot step and the door open, "hey Peri. " I said sitting up and then standing up as she shut the door so I could hug her, "I missed you," I smiled at her but she didn't really say anything and she looked really tired, "come on lets get you to bed. " I said before sitting her on the bed and then helping her remove her trousers, I then led her down and pulled up the covers, "I'm sorry I left you alone, " that was the first sober thing she had said to me, "it's fine, I just couldn't sleep is all. " Peri huffed and stretched her arms out to grab my body and bring it on to of her's. "So what was the job? " I asked assuming it went well if they all git drunk. "We had to rob a rival gang, my ex is the leader. " I nodded my head in understanding, that's why she's upset. "Don't worry about her Peri you have me. "

Peridot brought me closer and then asked a question that I wasn't ready for, "what are we?" I hummed in thought before smiling into her chest, "what do want us to be? " I asked I looked up to see Peridot blush, "I want to ask you on a date. " I smiled and mentally fist bumped myself. "I would love to go on a date with you Peri, " I said squeezing her before she started to trace my tattoo, "so beautiful... " she breathed out which made me giggle as it touched my neck.

In the morning we got ready for the day and Peridot told me she could only do tomorrow as our date which I didn't mind, I heard a knock at the door since I was in the living room reading whilst I sat on Peri's lap, "Ms Green you have a letter" Holy said as she handed Peridot the letter, she read it and her expression went dull. "What does it say Peri? " I asked whilst rubbing her huge arm in my tiny hand, "Amethyst wants to rumble... " I kinda guessed that Amethyst was her ex girlfriend by her expression. "What does rumble mean? " I asked which may seem like a silly question to others. "It means fight. " I nodded my head and then placed it on her chest, "just stay alive, okay? " I smiled up at her as she smiled down at me, and nodded her head, "of course.... "

Short but sweet, and a cliffhanger, ooooo. Anyway I have an idea for the plot of the new Gene movie they have coming out that I made ages ago with my cousin, but Disney don't allow suggestions. Anyway it goes like this,

Gene was a little boy who lived with his twin sister but one day the are kidnapped by a sorcerer who turned them into Genes and tied them two different lamps, the sorcerer kept Gene's sister for himself but he placed Gene in a cave, the cave of wonders and only the sorcerer and his defendants (the diamond in the rough) could get in, the twin would never see eachother again until the Gene is freed by Aladdin and he goes to find his sister. Also Anna Blue the YouTuber will be playing the twin sister.
