Lapis' POV

We carried are bags, that she had in the truck all along, into the room on the hotel that turned out to be for a hidden Water park and pool, which Peri said was actually owned by her gang, so we will be safe. I sat on the bed and bounced a little feeling how soft the mattress was. Peri laughed at me before a meow was hear from one of the bags. "Pumpkin?! " Peri said as she opened the bag to find a orange tabby cat. "Oh baby! " I said as she crawled into my arms and meowed at me. "Don't treat her like a baby. " Peridot told me as she started to unpack our bags. I shook my head and cuddles up to Pumpkin more. "She is our baby! And nothing will change that... " Peridot shook her head at me before sitting herself onto the bed next to me then kissing my head. "Nothing? " Peri asked eyebrows raised. I blushed alittle before realising what she meant. "I don't know about that yet... " I said before laying flat on my back. "Okay we don't have to talk about it. "

In the next few hours we decided to head out to the pool for a dip. We were seated at the bar in the middle if the pool when one of the workers called for Peridot. We rushed over to where he led us which was the medic area. "One of the women here was pregnant and she fell, her husband works for you. The doctor couldn't save her but he saved the baby. The husband is off on a job. She would we send him back? " Peri looked at me dumb founded as what to do. "Uh, how long will it take for him to get home? " she asked quickly. "2 day trip. Boss. " Peridot shook her head, "she can stay in my room until her father gets home. " the man nodded his head before I was given the baby to my delight and Peri with the men were taking up the baby stay stuff up to our room. "Who's a cutie? " I say cooing at the baby as the men leave.

I led down on the bed and held the baby to my chest, a real baby in my arms, only three days... I'm going to have to babysit after all this. Peri walked back in and grabbed a small Teddy her mother had left her. "It says Opal on the teddy. I think that's her name. I would hate it if I never knew my mother... " Lapis sat up alittle to give Peridot a hug. "Hey she'll be alright. Her dad's got you as a boss they'll be fine money wise and yes it may hurt alittle but she'll get through it. I did... " We sat in bed for hours afterwards watching tv with the sleeping baby inbetween us. Peri got a message from the father tellings us that he is already driving to the water park. Pumpkin crawled onto the bed with us and basically sat on Peri's face.
