Lapis' POV

I was cuddled up with Peridot on the sofa in the living room watching some cheesy rom-com called The Last Song. It started Miley Cyrus so my childhood of Hannah Montana blew up in my face as soon as she came on the screen. Peridot kissed my neck before saying "here comes the sad part... "

Spoilers for this movie read at your own risk, next bold line is when all talk of the movie is over.

Her father found out that he was going to die, I got a little emotional at the part where he tells her because it reminds me of the time when my uncle told me that my parents died, and I had no words. Peri noticed and pulled me in closer, "I'm sorry Lapis, I didn't even think when I pit the movie in... " I shook my head and held Peri's neck. "Everyone needs to move on eventually Peri, I'm fine. " Peri nodded her head and gave a wirey smile, "okay if that's what you think..."

Talk of movie is over

When the credits roll Peri releases me  a little before moving the blanket that was wrapped around us, Squaridot then came stumbling through the door with two girls and lipstick all over her face. I guess she's getting lucky tonight, they each had a bottle of beer in their hands but from the way they are behaving they've had way more. "H-ey P-Dot, he-y Lap-isss, I u---m, am go-go-going to bed. " she then proceeded to go up to her room with the two girls and when they were out of hearing rang we both laughed, "my sister is going to get into big trouble one day. " I nodded my head in agreement as we carried in laughing, we then decided it was time to shower then bed so I went into my bathroom and showered whilst Peri did the same in her's.

I left the bathroom after half an hour to see Peridot asleep onto of my bed with nothing on but a pair on boxers and a green vest, I smiled at her and kissed her head before getting in my side and cuddling up to her. "Night Peri. "

I woke up the next morning to hear Peridot sneezing and coughing, "Peri, are you okay? " Peri sat up and nodded her head, "I forgot to try my hair last night because I was so tried. " I shook my head, "Peridot... you big dummy... " I then went into Peridot's room to grab her blankets and her Alien stuffy. When Peridot saw him she immediately went to grab him, which made me laugh. I wrapped her up in the blankets and turned on her tablet putting on Netflix for her, "what do want to watch?, I'ma make you chicken soup. " Peri smiled and looked at the screen, "Camp Pinning Hearts please." I nodded my before clicking on the show and leaving before saying call if she needs anything.

I then went down stairs to see Squari and her girls from the other night mucking about on the sofa. I then walked into the kitchen and asked the cook for chicken soup. The cook asked what it was for and I told her that Peridot was sick and not be disturbed so she could tell everyone.

After the cook finished the soup I took it to Peri and kissed her shoulder as I set it down on her lap table. "Thankyou Lapis, also have you seen- acho! -Squari? " I nodded my head before asking, "what do you need her for? " Peri shook her head, "no we were just going to go over plans for tomorrow's heighst. " I nodded and laughed when I started to tell Peri about Squari in the living room.

After watching some shows with Peri she started to get assy, like most people do when they have a cold. "Peri keep your shirt on... " I said as she tried to pull the vest off of her body. "It's too hot! " She replied which made me respond with, "you were cold two seconds ago, " Peridot fell down on her back and gave up, "I want ice cream! " I gave her a mum face which made her chuckle ad continue her request with a "please..."
I called Jasper to get ice cream which she did, one pot for each of us.

Jasper then sat with us in my room as we eat our ice cream and talked about different things Peridot then decided that she wanted a cuddle, "please! I need a cuddle! " I looked at Jasper for surport which made her laugh, "Peridot you don't want to get her sick. " Peridot sighed before moving down to my legs and cuddling then whilst resting her head on my stomach. I giggled and Jasper left before telling us "I've got work now see ya later. " I nodded my head before grabbing my sketch pad, I then heard small noises coming from Peri, and when I looked at her I saw that she was asleep. "Night Peri " I whispered before going back to my drawings.
