A Normal Birthday or Something Different.

Peridot's POV

Today is Lapis' birthday and I know she hasn't had many good ones so I have planned for this day to be her most cherished birthday ever. I had already gotten dressed before waking up my sleeping beauty. "Hey Lapis... it's your birthday Lapi, you're 21 now!" Lapis grumbled at me before turning over and cuddling up to her mouse named Lion. I smiled, I am so happy that she loves her present, but she has more to come. I picked her up and brought her and her mouse down stairs. She grumbled and pushed herself into me.

I sat on the sofa and cooed at Lapis, "Lapi, you need to look around, I've got you somethings I want to watch you open them. " Lapis looked up and around to see all of her presents in a pile from me and some from the gang. "Wow, that's a lot! " I laughed at her as her eyes bulged.

Lapis held up her first present and looked at it, "what is it? " I shook my head "you rip the paper Lapi. " Lapis looked at the box and asked "Why? It's so pretty. " It was only blue hearts but I can see what she means, she probably doesn't even remember kissed her head and neck. "We can save some if you want " she nodded her head and ripped open her first present "oh paint, nice. " I kissed her head and watch as she opened the rest, she got a charcoal sketch pad, another teddy but it was a smaller one a cat, a snow globe and a blanket with our names on it with a turquoise love heart.

When she was finished I pulled out her last present, "now Lapis you don't have to open this one if you don't want to Lapis because it is from your Uncle but if you do, I know you won't be disappointed. " Lapis took the present and opened it slowly, she look at a card that was on top of a framed picture of her parents and a small box, "I'm sorry, I was a terrible Uncle please take this photo of your parents and the necklace was left to you by your mother for your 18th, it was the only piece of her jewelry I couldn't sell. I am so sorry. If I could of died instead of your parents I would of.- your uncle " Lapis read out loud.

Lapis opened the box to revile a Lapis gem on a gold chain. I smiled as she held up the chain to me "will you do the honors? " I nodded my headband gently took the chain. Lapis turned around and I placed it on her neck. She turned around and kissed her, "happy birthday Lapi. " Lapis kissed me again she then pulled herself into my lap and I kissed her neck which made her moan, but we had to stop our fun when the phone went off.

I moved to grab my phone not moving Lapis off of me.
"Peri: hello?
" mother: hello sweety,
Peri: oh hi mother,
Mother: I just called to say that your step father and I are coming for a visit,
Peri: on really when?
Mother: we will be, there in five,
Peri: alright see you then mother love you.
Mother: yes. "

The call ended and I looked over to Lapis and sighed, "oh Lapis, what am I going to do? " Lapis held me and kissed my forehead. "Hey it will be okay... " Peri sighed so I stroked her hair until the doorbell rang. "I'll get it." Lapis said before standing up to answer the door, when she opened the door there stood my beautiful tall mother with designer clothes all over her body. Also my smaller step dad dressed like a butler, Lapis turned slightly to see me and Squari stood straight, next to eachother like soldiers. "Oh you must be the help? " I moved by Lapis and pulled her next to me, "um no mother this is my girlfriend Lapis. " I told her, my mothusnarled "oh I see, you are doing that again. " I shook my head at her and Squari moved to show our mother and mute step father the living room. "Mother I'm going to be back later, it's Lapis' birthday and I want to take her out. " my mother just waved me off, "yes go go. "

I ran out as soon as I could holding Lapis' hand we got outside to my car. "Wait Peri we haven't gotten dressed yet. " Lapis laughed as we got into the car. I started the car and said "don't worry, where we're going you won't need them. " Lapis punch my arm which made me laugh. I soon drove the car all the way to a hotel...

This chapter was surpost to come out on my birthday (20th April) but I completely forgot about it on my birthday so I rushed it. Because I suck;
