She was sitting on the couch, watching the usual television show she watched during six o'clock in the evening. Her feet were up in the living room table while suffering the smell of good food being cooked in the kitchen.
As for her brother's request for her to stay put and keep away from their lover business in the kitchen. Of course, she knew it didn't mean that lovey-dovey kind of way. But she's still annoyed that she gets to sit without further help asked.
She filled her mouth with the last bit of chips she's been munching there a couple of minutes had passed. And now she's irritated with the noise of teasing in the kitchen. The lovebirds were having their time of their lives laughing and giggling.
"Oh, come onnnn!!! Am I a nuisance if I help out there?!" She asked, voice loud enough for them to hear.
"Yeah, you'll be!" Ash replied back in the kitchen.
"How mean!"
"Well, aren't you used to him being like that?" Another unfamiliar male voice spoke behind her.
For a moment she was stunned by the lack of presence but soon, slowly, turned around to find a really tall and big guy leaning on the door. He was carrying a luggage and beside him stood a girl probably around ten to twelve years old. But her focus mainly kept itself towards the Asian ravonette.
"The guy in the library!" She automatically exclaimed.
"Oh Sing, you're here!" Eiji peeked out of the kitchen door as his eyes trailed down towards the child beside him. "Akira!" He acknowledged the little girl beside him.
"You're Sing?!" Y/n stood up a little dumbfounded.
The boy smiled. "Of course its me nerdy." He said.
"Uhmmm..." She hesitantly placed her hand behind her with an awkward look. She couldn't even look at him in the eye after finding that all along, she's already meeting him. "I... uh..." she wanted to apologize so badly. But she could feel her knees trembling from guilt.
"Y/n. Let bygones be bygone. I'm not mad at you." Sing softly said.
She looked up at him, pursing her lips to stop her near tears, jumping on the man as high as she could and overwhelmed him with a pounding hug. "You're so damn tall!" She said, voice trembled and croaked. Her feet already dangling in the air as she reached him for embrace.
Sing chuckled, enveloping his broad arms around her. "Looks like you missed me big time." He said.
"Oh you. I didn't miss you in the slightest." She said sarcastically. "We were out in the radar for 7 years and I don't even know how you've been."
Y/n pulled off from the hug as Sing gently placed her down on the floor. Her hand now placed on his face above him as she pouted. "I missed you too." He said. Ruffling her hair with an amused smile.
"Ahem." Both stop to looked at the child who cleared her throat. Little Akira stood beside Sing, her face looked like a child disgusted to see her parents doing lovey-dovey in front of her.
This made Y/n laughed, leaning forward to the younger asian with a sweet smile. "Hello! I'm Y/n, and you are?" She asked.
The girl blushed. Looking down to her little feet as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. "Akira..." she shyly replied.
"Akira huh? That's a cute name. And what brought you here? Vacation?" The girl nodded.
"She's my niece." Eiji finally stepped out the kitchen. He held a hand towel, wiping away the moisture in his hand. "She's Ibe's daughter."
