47 Malice of the Forgotten

(Oof—apologies for the boring update. Ohmigush I need a life! I'm here, suffering for six hours of 3 math subjects and other subjects as of the matter.)

Exchange of bullets can only be heard in the building as the group attacked the facility where their other friends had been locked. Ash was already inside, captured by Foxx who unexpectedly shot Monsieur.

Y/n was slightly affected by what happened. She knew he deserved it, but Foxx doesn't deserve the best shot for the mafia boss, her brother does. Upon the steel gate being bombarded to open, everyone prepared their guns and started feeding bullets to the enemies. The tension arises as the youngsters pushed forward deeper into the building, exchanging kills.

Sing followed the girl, only praying for her safety while he covered her back from any harm. The smell of gunpowder spreads into the air intoxicatingly, almost like a poison radiating into the room. The deafening bullets didn't seize, as if they've been here a couple of hours but really wasn't as more and more bodies of dead men lays on the ground with shock faces, expressions that made it looked how unprepared they are to die.

The girl was getting more restless. Losing her ammo did it worse when she bare-handedly charged towards a lone man who retaliated back with bullets. True that she had reflexes and good eyes to see and dodge, but with that amount of bullet being produced was impossible for her to avoid which instantly gave a shot right into her leg but she continued regardless. The Chinese male called out to her but she wasn't listening until she was already grabbing the end of the gun, pulling it up and swiftly unleashed her Swiss knife slicing deeply into his neck. Blood splattered into the wound, hitting the girl's face few drops on her cheeks before she turned around to face him.

Sing was taken aback by her loss of expression, with that blood on her face, it looked even more of a devil's face.

"Y/n." Blanca called, making Sing jumped off realizing that the man was towering behind him. "I guess it's time to switch gears." He permitted.

The girl nodded, taking out the rifle the man she killed was carrying. "Which plan?" she asked. Her serious and focused face came out.

"Plan F."

Still in question, Sing watched as the girl nodded and strayed away from the group. He was about to follow when a hand heave by his shoulder to stop him. He turned around, meeting his gaze with Blanca's disapproving one. "She needs to do this on her own. Trust her, Sing." He said seriously.

"But she's alone—"

"She's stronger when no one's there to worry about." He looked at the group seriously. "You guys rescue the hostages. Once you get them, don't worry about us and go."

"And you?" Cain asked seriously.

Blanca turned to him with the same look. "I'm going to get Ash. He hasn't paid me yet, after all." He jokingly said before facing back and sprinted off as the chinese boy watched him drift off the group. "Hurry up and go."

"Sing, what are you doing, let's go!" the other called out.

He turned towards Cain. "I'm leaving them to you, please." Without waiting for response, he followed the man who was making his way further into the hallways. Cain tried to call out to him but he didn't oblige a look.

Peeking into the hallway, the ravonette Russian prepared his gun as he appeared to face three guards who were caught off guard as he started to let out bullets, Sing suddenly joined him killing the three instantly.

"I won't get in your way." The young Chinese said, a rather tone of boast that made Blanca smiled with amusement.

"I know." he replied as both of them continued on into the elevator.

The Russian man looked into the blueprint of the building. For one, he was worried about his daughter too, but the top priority right now is to save the captured gang members and Ash.

"Ash didn't tell you about the blue print?" Sing asked.

"He only asked me to back you guys up, to pull you out of it safely." He replied.

"Then, he never intended to survive?" Shocked, the young Chinese still asked.

"Smart choice. No need for everyone to die."

"Then is you being here is a smart choice?"

"Look who's talking."

Looking at the blueprint, he gave it a wondering thought. "The top area is structured differently."

Sing reached up to looked at the phone. "What do you mean?" Blanca also slouched down to help him see clearer.

"My guess is that it's a hangar." Both looked up the ceiling.

"Take care of the gang, I'll take Ash." He said, handing the blue print towards Sing, that the boy quickly handed over to Caine.

"It's his decision to make." Blanca replied.

"How about the plan you told Y/n? What was that about?" he asked seriously.

"Just search and destroy."

"What does that mean?"

"She's watching out for your friends. Now, let's hurry." He walked faster, Sing followed the phase despite his shorter legs.

Meanwhile, Y/n stood by the window side. High enough to observe the people inside the facility with a rifle in her hand, focused on each and every enemy on the floors. Her eyes sharpened, the irises on her e/c lenses dilated and then compressed when she pulled the trigger. A direct headshot hit one of the soldiers, giving another one to the man who was stunned to find him dead.

"Two down..." she whispered, licking the slit of her lips when her eyes locked another target. Continuing the shots until she ran out of bullets, deciding to leave her hiding place and started searching for enemies who might hinder their mission: to save the captured gangs.

She started tying the wound she's got a few hours ago when she realized she's actually wounded. Now she wondered, what could her dad have been doing right now? Or if Sing was safe and was able to save his friends. She let the thoughts through while she ran into the hallway alone, making sure her senses were up and her steps are as quiet to hear unnecessary noises on her way.

She smiled to herself, maybe after this she could have a nice sip of milk and a good night sleep. Well aware of the fact that any wrong turn in this corridors would lead her to total annihilation if she's not careful of her surroundings. Now that she didn't have a gun, things would probably get even worse.

A little to the left, she was faced with numbers of mercenaries. Their surprised expression made her smile as she ran her way towards them, running side by side to avoid bullets as she grabbed one of the riffle, pushing it up and at the same time, gave the man holding it an uppercut as the others continued shooting. She used the man she punched as a shield, making his body take all the gunshots that made the others stopped. Quickly pulling the riffle of the dead man, she used it to kill the others as they fell into the ground, blood pooling the lone hallway.

Stealing one of the guns and few grenades, she started off again in search of some victims to hunt and a new area to shoot the enemy from the other side. She continued on, upward to reach the top floor of the building to meet her father as planned.

"Okay, unexpected but at least it went smoothly." She sighed looking down at her injured leg again. "It's about time I ask for a bullet proof socks. If it ever existed anyway."
