She sat alone in one of the detention cells. After hours of interrogation about her what happened to the railway. But she refused to speak no matter how the police pressured her about her connection with Dino, the blood staining her sword, number of people she mutated dead and her having no conscience.

Her head clear and compose only said two sentences after the whole interrogation. "It's self defense. I wouldn't do it otherwise if they simply left us alone." That ended the conversation, returning her back to the cell.

She sat there thinking about how she will handle life threats that will come to Ash when after she gets out. Of she ever would, of course.

"Y/n Varishikov. Come out." The police looked up at the police who called her. That was a bit of wonder why they would allow her to get out when she's involved to such massacre. But no longer asking, she stood up and followed ahead. They were walking by the detention cell cramped with the other gang men when another police faced the cell holding another clipped paper. "Sing Soo-Ling. Come out." The young Chinese came out of the cell meeting up with her eye to eye. The two quietly walked together until Eiji was also asked to come out that made sing looked at him questioningly and Y/n waving at him.

They made their way into the exit. "Hey you, I haven't seen you before. What gang do you belong to?" he asked.

Y/n gave Sing a questioning look. "You two met up!" She said. "Remember when we went to save him in that clinic where Griff got shot?" She reminded.

"Ah?" Sing raised and eyebrow.

"I'm a Japanese... Ash's friend." Eiji awkwardly introduced.

"Ah!" Sing recalled. "Didn't recognize you. I mean... I don't really remember. Sorry."

Eiji looked down. "It's okay."

Y/n looked at him seriously. "Don't worry about Ash. He's going to be fine. At least smart and strong enough to do so." She softly said tapping his shoulder lightly to ease the Japanese male.

"I'm sorry. I know you know him more than me... but I just can't help but feel worried..." he replied with a heavy sigh.

"Come on gentle rabbit. Stop thinking about him for a while. You should think about yourself for a while." She seriously said.

Eiji looked back at her questioningly. "What do you mean?" He asked.

"Who bailed us out? That's what you should be worrying about now."

That answer also made Sing realize. Although having a clue pf who, he was still in question why the two were with him. And alas, reaching the exit they were met by a black car that revealed the expected. Yut Lung sat on the opened back seat, arms and feet crossed.

"Sing Soo-Ling. I'm disappointed." He started. Eiji was dragged away to another car while the two left staring at the young Lee. He looked up to meet with Y/n's eyes. "Are you not going to stop me?" He asked.

"I have questions." She replied. Inviting herself inside the care without Yut Lung's permission. Sing followed as to the car's cue to start its engine.

"Start." The long haired beauty said.

"What do you want?"

"Nothing in particular."

"You know you're freeing me... what would you gain?"

"Y/n L/n..." he said her full name. The name that made her eyes sharpen from the one who mentioned it. Sing also looked confused. "That was your name before your father had taken you on costudy. You've been home schooled years before you were taken to Monseiur as her personal exchange to your father's retirement." He said.

She looked straight into the black car they were following where Eiji is. "Well, I commend you for finding out so much. My biography would be a complete buzz." She sarcastically said.

Yut Lung chuckled. "Your profile is really sifted through. It's hard to find with all the selling front you've been trying to hide it from. Your character design had just been to peaceful atmd perfect... 'Golzine's beloved godchild' - 'Musical prodigy' - 'Top ranked student' 'a happy go lucky girl' what do you think would be the catch if you set the bars too high? Of course, you'd be scouted." He said.

"I didn't know Chinese could be this nosy." She said.

"That's just how we do business."

"And what business do you have with me?"

"I'm still thinking about it." He said. "I set you out because of what you did in Golzine's chamber when Ash desperately pulled that trigger."

Explaining that, she noted about stabbing Shorter out of the critical spot. "What do you mean? I have the slightest idea." She replied.

"I believe you know what I'm talking about." He replied. "Or do you want me to remind you by saying his name?"

"You don't have to." She sighed. "Why did you take Eiji?" She asked instead.

"Don't you think it's better?" Yut Lung gave her a meaningful glance. "That we remove the person who can destroy us before it happens?"

She blinked. E/c eyes darkened for a short moment. "You know... I don't think you should interfere with what Ash chooses. It was his choice." She replied as calm as she could.

"Justifying yourself I see."

That word made the girl looked at the beautiful male beside her.

"I know you despise that man. Despite your facade you know how threatening that Japanese boy is to your relationship with your known brother. You think I wouldn't notice--"

"Stop. This. Car." The girl demanded coldly.

That surprised both Sing and Yut Lung. But the young male didn't give in. "I'm right am I?" He said.

She looked straight into the beauty's eyes. Her cold chilled his spine knowingly. "Your blabbering will kill you of you kept on setting foot through boundaries you're not supposed to cross. And I wouldn't mind showing what you seek for once you won't keep your nose into my business." She said. "And yes. As a thanks for your effort I will tell you what I think about your opinion. I am not threatened. Because that day I saw Ash cry for his beloved best friend made me realize how much he needed a guide to return to his path. No matter what pushes him down the boundary. He is like you. And at the same time he shouldn't be."

She gave a sigh. "Now mr. Lee Yut Lung. Stop this car this instance. I need to go somewhere else." She seriously said.

The triggered young Lee looked at her. "If that's what you want! Don't you even care what I will do with Eiji!" He shouted.

"I do care. And if something bad happens to him... just remember that your enemy isn't just going to be Ash Lynx." She told him.

The car stopped into the roadside. The girl opened the door and gave one final looked at the young Lee. "Take care of Eiji while I'm gone." She softly said. Then her eyes went to Sing. "Remember to give my book back. Bye." She shut the door back close and started walking away.

Yut Lung slammed the window annoyed. "That brat." He grunted holding his forehead in distress.

"Well, you did hit a nerve on her so you should be ready to get bitten back." Sing replied teasingly.

"Shut up!"

"Oh well, that's your fault."
