Another day in the rat's hole...
The little gang alliance had been cut short after more than half the team are captured by Foxx. More to Sing's dismay, Lao had always been a key of objection. The older didn't like his younger brother around y/n and Ash. But now that shorter had arrived alive and kicking, he can't reason out the girl killing their former boss ever again.
Y/n stood by the window, checking on the ground and then logically visualizing escape routes in each attack formation. She set courses in her mind senseless, not even noticing another being stood at the door. She was busy, let alone take her mind away from what happened during their capture with Foxx.
"You." The rude and demanding voice made her turn around only to meet a glare from Lao.
She blinked twice. Sing wasn't in the second floor at the moment--nobody even is but them. "What do you want?" She casually asked with a normal tone.
The older was still in displeasure. Looking at the girl who, in his eyes, retracted the name of the devil in her own form. "Why won't you leave my brother alone?" He asked annoyed.
She had a moment to pause before suddenly realizing something. "Ah, so you're going to be my Brother-in-law? That's just nice!" She replied unfazed by the male's question.
Lao clicked his tongue, storming towards her almost on the verge of punching her as strong as he can but decided to just pull her collar up that her feet almost losing the touch of the floor. "I may not be able to kill an innocent bunny, but just so you know you're not an exemption." He harshly pushed her that made her sit on the floor. Next thing she knew, he was pointing a revolver at her head.
"I can't die yet." She told him as if she was given an option.
The murderous chinese man not only filled his eyes with anger, but bursting in rage. His hands started shaking from madness as the ingenious retort she gave made him initially wanted to make her brain burst out of the place they're in. "I'll kill you, dammit." He said pushing the tip of the gun on her forehead.
"I don't mind being killed." She replied, Lao was taken aback. "But I have to help Ash out first before you do so." She gently pushed the gun aside with her forehand as the male could only do is watch her.
She stood up from sitting on the ground and started walking past him. However, her attempts failed again when the man grabbed her arm. "Are you damn sure you see Ash only as your fucking brother?" He asked. His tone lower but still, his growl remained.
She sighed. "Yes. Of course." She replied.
"What if that's really not true? What if you're just thinking that he's a brother to you when not? You're going to leave Sing? Set him aside?" His tone became a tone of care and sorrow.
"You're brother is as much of importance. I see no reason to leave him behind now." She replied.
"What if not?" Lao gripped her arm tighter.
"Then we wouldn't be here, me being pointed a gun by you. You think I'd stick by people just because? I'm more than willing to rest my life in exchange of his own--" she paused. Pulling her hand back from Lao and the looking at the older. "I'm even as willing to kill anyone who will hurt him. Even if it means descending the devil myself or killing myself at the matter."
The latter didn't know what to say to that. Whether to trust her or not. Whether to kill her or not. Whether to think deeper meanings in her world or not.
Her e/c looked at him throughly. He could even feel the hair in his back rose involuntarily as she seemed to have stabbed a glare through his soul. "How about you, Lao? Are you sure you only see him as your brother?" She asked.
The male took seconds to realize she had spoke again. His blood boiled once more, hid face red in anger. Pushing her harshly on the wall that made her hit her back painfully. She flinch but not surprised. "Sing is the only one I have left as family. I am not a fool to think otherwise. All I do until now is to take my brother higher, but with you and Ash getting in his way, he can never... ever aim higher." His voice was low. Only the two of them could hear yet the emotions were there.
Watching him run his runt, she sighed aggravated. "Coming from you then it's fine. I want him to aim high too. But I want him to live believing he can reach what he wants to. I support that. If he wants to surpass Ash, I'll support him. But are you sure that's what he even wants?" She asked back. "If you keep on planning for your brother's future even if he didn't want it..." she glared at him bluntly. "I swear I'll steal him away from your bloody ideals."
Her threatening facade almost made him want to run. But he held on to his common ground, swallowing most of the time. "Hurt Sing and I swear, you'll regret having been involved with us." He warned.
She smiled. "Just the way I like it." She lightly tapped his shoulder. Swatting his hand that pinned her on the wall. "I'm glad we agree." She turned around and began to leave. Lao was left in the air hanging. That girl... he knew from the beginning that he didn't like her very presence. If only he had the strength right here and right now, he would've pulled that trigger right into her brain.
He gripped the revolver with a shaky hand. Remembering her question that hung into the air... How about you, Lao? Are you sure you only see him as your brother? Her voice echoed like a a wave that continuously hit the sandy beach. It repeated and repeated. He held half his face, beads of sweat dripping down his forehead. "How dare you, you little bitch?" He hissed.
Then another thought entered his mind... I swear I'll steal him away from your bloody ideals. He threw the gun harshly on the concrete floor. He wanted to shout. Challenge her, kill her, cut her ingenious tongue, put her to misery... all to make her regret ever trying to steal his dearest younger brother.
"I'll kill you. Damned bitch. Just you wait, I'll kill you." He said. Smiling madly to himself as he leaned on the wall and slid down to sit. "You won't be stealing Sing away. He's the only one I have... you'll never understand how much my brother means to me. My little brother..."
(Oops. Nooo. I made Lao crazy. But it's true that he's Sing-obsessed and is willing to kill for li'l bro. That's what I liked about Lao--cuz he's like meh. Hahahaha. Yandare for dear boi Sing-y pie.)
