It had been three days...
Three days after that abduction happened when Sing hasn't heard a word from that girl. He wasn't as brave as to just dial her number saved on his phone and he's not that desperate to choose.
He will never forget that night. Night when she told him to trust her. While he was locked there waiting, he couldn't help by feel uneasy that she might get hurt from those men. Half of him felt useless and desperate to regain back his pride. But when that door opened, she was welcomed by something even he couldn't believe himself. Blood was everywhere in her, but it wasn't even her blood.
She was smiling. Hair nearly covering half her face, body crouched like a zombie while breathing heavily. She was like a ghost.
"Sing, are you okay?" She asked. But she wasn't supposed to be the one asking that. It should be him who must ask.
"Don't mind me. What the hell happened to you?" He went near, holding both her shoulder, watching her confused.
She smiled, tapping his hand lightly on her shoulder before swiftly coiling her arms around his waist securely. "I'm tired. My legs are aching a bit so let me lean on you for a while." She said.
"No. We have to leave." Sing demanded as he loosen away from her. She looked back watching his actions until realizing herself being lifted on the floor ad then being carried by his back. "We don't want to be entangled with this kind of people." He started walking towards the exit.
Surprised for a little while when Sing unexpectedly piggy back her, she smiled. Leaning her body forward to his back and coiling her arms around his neck with her chin resting to his shoulder. "I'll rest for a bit, Sing." She murmured. Closing her eyes she heaved herself into his back selflessly.
"Sheesh. Fast asleep." He adjusted her up to his back securely. And when he felt that she won't fall behind him, he started walking out of the building. Blood was everywhere when he was walking into the large storehouse, almost too much for him to digest to find that a girl this fragile looking would result to this kind of violent crime. But he refused to believe. Probably someone else did it, that's why she didn't speak about it.
They were soon out of the place faster than expected. It wasn't as hidden for him since it's just the typical type of syndicate hideout. Reaching the main road of Manhattan shortly afterwards seeing few people walking on every opposite direction. Night walk isn't news for the chinese thug. It's actually safer at night than anyone think about day. And since the sidewalk is free of people, they could almost fight without getting in trouble with public.
Reaching Chinatown, Sing made a run into the alley. Trying to hide himself from the people he knew before they find out that he's taking an unconscious girl home with him. Why was he taking her home with him anyway?
She's seriously high right now. She needs rest and bath. He doesn't even know where she lives. Leaving her in some random place is dangerous. So it's just reasonable.
Finally reaching his house, he carefully laid her down. Actually wanting to do something about the stains of blood on her skin and clothes since it was a mess. He knelt on the bed, reaching her shoulder then shook her. "Hey. Wake up. Clean yourself first." He demanded.
She groaned a little. Feeling disturbed, she opened her eyes half staring back at the man up at him. She plainly sat up and made her way towards the bathroom without complaint, closing the door behind him. Sound of rushing water began to sound in the shower. He was simply sitting on the bed, waiting for her while playing his phone. Five minutes later, the bathroom was unlocked and coming out of the door, only towel covering her body that made the boy jumped off the bed, running his way towards his cabinet. Grabbing a random shirt neatly folded and then tossing it to the girl before swiftly slamming the room door when he went out going to the living room.
