Watching the plane departed so fast was too unbelievable for them. Her eyes didn't blink while holding the other younger's hand.
Sing was watching the plane as well, but as it took seconds, his eyes slowly darted to the girl beside him. Her e/c eyes ever so captivating, leaving him in a trance that if possible, he'd keep this view for as long as he could imagine. He held her hand tightly, securing her cold hand with his' warm one.
"Y/n, by the way. I went to Yut Lung." The boy started with a smile.
She still stared at the sky, blinking before her lips moved. "How is he?"
He shrugged. "Well. Same bitter attitude. I found him dunking himself out to gallons of liquor." He told her.
Y/n chuckled. Looking at him dearly with her e/c eyes that captivated the boy so many times now. "Don't you dare go drinking like him." She said with a pout but soon smiled. "I don't want to see a messed up little Chinese thug." She teased.
Sing gave her wide eyes. His dark orbs looked at her in disbelief. "That's just ever so rude coming from you, you know." He said back, messing up her hair with his free hand.
She giggled. "I'm imagining it. It's too cute I don't know how I can resist such temptation..."
"Sheesh. Are you telling me to get drunk so you could take advantage of me?" The boy asked back.
With that question, her smile faded instantly. "What? No! Why would I do that?" She denied from the sudden embarrassment.
Sing smirks. Recovering from his defeat while he watched her flustered. A smirk the girl was so sure she wouldn't like. "Come on. You tell me." He said.
"Why are you so scheming? I haven't even finished teasing you yet!"
"Well haven't you had enough teasing for the passed months? When you're still a pretentious little kitten?"
"So you call me a kitten. Hamster."
"Gluttonous kitten. How about that?"
"You--"
She was about to give her retort. Not until Sing pulled her hand that ended up to become an embrace between them. The girl felt herself flushed in a dusk of red. She tensed, unknown of what to do with the young Chinese raven had wrapped his arms around her waist.
"What? Can't talk now, kitten?" He asked, staring down at the girl amused.
"Tss. You're the one taking advantage of me, hamster." She muttered in a pout, looking over his chest to avoid eye contact with him.
He laughed her concerns off. Kissing her by her forehead before looking back down to her again. "Aren't you cute?"
"I always am. You just noticed that now?" She complained.
*ahem* hearing the sudden throat-clearing-to-get-attention situation, the two separated as quick looking over to the owner of the voice who interrupted. While the third person simply fixed his sunglasses before shoving his hands on his pocket. "What? Don't mind me. Carry on." Shorter nodded, pretending to have taken an interest to some random side while the two stared at him.
Y/n face palmed. Almost too occupied to realize that they weren't the only ones who walked Eiji to the airport. "Geez. I give up."
"I do support this, loveteam that's about to happened Y/n, Sing. But Y/n." Shorter turned to the h/c haired girl. His brows in a frown. "I believe there's something else you're supposed to say." He said seriously.
Confused, the boy turned to the girl who looked away, her head up above the blue sky. "Yeah." She said almost too quietly.
"What is it?" Sing asked.
He turned to the former Chinese boss who now had started walking off. He wanted to stop him, but he couldn't find his will to do so until his full attention reached the girl who still looked up quietly.
"Sing... I love you." She, out of all thoughts, said softly.
As the young Asian stared in disbelief, he felt his heart jammed inside his body that if so overdramatic, would have break out of his rib like a little thug he is. He watched her turned her head to face him again, now her face filled a smile so sad that didn't seem to fit the face he expected her to show.
"Y/n?" He called out to her worried. Something about her didn't seem right today.
"Dad wanted me to go with him in Caribbean." She finally admitted. "He said I can meet my mom. That he'll make up for the years he's wasted to supposedly being my father."
The boy was confused for a second. He could almost sense something was stuck on his throat while his heart seized painfully. His body wasn't prepared for a response for this revelation, he still couldn't believe that this sentence even came out of the girl's lips herself.
"So, you'll be leaving Manhattan soon..." he muttered softly, not even believing something like now would be coming... it was too soon for them.
The girl looked down guiltily. She can't even looked at him in the eyes knowing how it upset him. She wanted to do what she told him that starry night. Study with him, eat sweets with him and more that she couldn't count.
She just can't leave the boy who stole her heart. One of the few people who let her experienced countless of defeats, although it was all the good parts that somewhat gave her changes. She wanted to protect him as well... maybe from someone who'll harm him.
"I-I'm so sorry Sing. I don't want to leave yet. But dad said it's urgent. He wanted us to restart a life without bloodstained hands now. He wanted to fill the times we lost..." she felt her voice trembled. "But I want to be with you..."
Hoping it was just a terrible joke, Sing kept his mouth shut for a moment. Afraid to hear more words that would sink his chest deeper and painful. At least... he hoped.
"There are so many things that I wanted to do... I want it to be with you. Somehow. Someday. I was expecting us to be studying together and all..." now a tear dribbled down her e/c eyes. "I'm so confused. I don't know what I'm going to do--"
"Go with your dad." Sing cut her off.
She looked up at him, meeting his dark orbs that looked just as sad. "But I--"
"You want to meet your mom. You want to be with your family. I understand Y/n." He said softly, deeply emphasizing what he knew she wished. He touched her cheeks, caressing her soft skin as he leaned closer, sticking his forehead to hers. "Go, Y/n. I'll be waiting for you no matter how long it takes."
"But there's no guarantee that I'll come back." She shut her eyes closed, feeling more tears escaping her eyes. "I don't want to leave you..."
Then please don't... Sing would've obligingly said those words. Yet no matter how much his lips wants to say it out loud, he can't take advantage of the fact that the girl was so disheartened to choose between him and her family. "I don't care. I'll always wish you'll come. I'll wait even if you won't come as long as you still have your memories of Manhattan. As long as you have the desire to return. I'll wait." Shortly pressing his lips to hers, he smiled. "Y/n... I love you."
