The necklace looked like someone who's more feminine-like would wear. It didn't suit Alec's whole demeanour. Maybe he likes these kind of style... questionable, but okay.

The whole point of giving my cousin the number was to get his necklace back from him, not me! A sigh escaped in defeat. And here I was doing my cousin's job instead.

Blake said I would find Alec in class 301 but when I got there, I just embarrassed myself. Ms.Maddie or whatever her name was, got so irritated at the mere mention of his name, Alec.

Then the class proceeded to give me judgemental stares. I awkwardly left the classroom and school. Maybe I'll catch him tomorrow. I ended up going back home as Blake came by to pick me up.

For the next few days, I kept going to Blake's school only to return back home with no progress. I swear, why can't Blake just give it to him, himself?

He has been lying to his mother, saying he has football practice. When really he's just going over to Emily's.

Is this summer vacation or summer school?!

Well, at least I haven't attended a class yet. But again I could be at home relaxing instead of going to school. It's not even my school! I cursed myself and Blake.

The phrase, 'Please be here today' repeated in my head as I got in Blake's car and he drove me to his school again.

"I'm going over to Emily's," he paused for a second and then pointed at me, "Don't tell my mom," and drove away.

I had a deadpan stare as I watched Blake drive away from me, leaving me stranded in his high school parking area. Yeah whatever, Blake and his girl problems.

I shook my head as I entered the school. With a dull expression and half-lidded eyes because I'm so over it, I scanned the area.

Shortly, my eyes widened and the so-called dull expression shifted to a slight smile as my gaze landed on a familiar figure. This time, I had found him! Alec! Sneaking around in the hallways.

He looked like an idiot crouching down and lurking about almost down on the floor. Strangely, putting a little grin on my lips.

I crouched and snuck up behind him while his back was still facing me, "Hey, what are you doing?" Came out almost in a whispered tone.

He flinched, turning around quickly, landing his bottom on the floor. A scrunched up expression immediately formed as soon as he landed and let out a soft, "Ahh."

He got back up on his feet while displaying a gaping and a mix of scowling expressions. Giving a look of utter disappointment.

"What are you doing here snob? Weren't you here few days ago? The field is over there if you're looking for Blake," he pointed behind me.

"No, I'm here to give you your necklace. Blake wanted me to pass it to you and I don't know why he couldn't give it to you himself," I lied on the latter part, extending my arm, giving his necklace.

I mean I know why Blake doesn't want to give it himself. He's too busy dealing with Emily. And for some whatever reason when Blake dials Alec from his phone, it reaches voicemail.

Taking the necklace out of my hand, he quickly shoves it down his grey sweats pocket. "Let me guess, he's dealing with the whole Emily problem? Too busy?" An effortless scoff followed along.

His hand casually brushed his hair back, some strands of his hair returned to its place. If he wasn't already attractive enough, the swift movement made him look even more effortlessly attractive.
