Alec pov
I got up from my bed, "Why the hell should I do that?!" I yelled out loud while I was on the phone.

"Can you shut the fuck up Alec," I heard the old man complain while grunting.

Letting out a sigh, I replied back, "Fine, I'll meet you guys outside." This time lowering my tone and hung up on Jess.

Grabbing my keys and jacket to leave the house, I heard footsteps walking towards my direction.

"Where are you going huh? You're always out, aren't you? You little dipshit. Why not just stay out?!" He yelled and all I could focus on was the smell of his disgusting smelly ass breath.

His hands reached for my shirt and grabbed me by the collar. Since he was a lot shorter than me, I naturally had to look down to meet his eyes. But that was enough to trigger him, "Are you fucking looking down on me?! Huh?! Now that you've grown and you're a bit taller. You think you can fucking look down on me?! Piece of little worthless shit." He aggressively pulled me down.

With a huff he continued, "Don't look at me with those glaring eyes, I'll fucking pop them right out of your eye socket."

Despite the threat I still glared at him. This triggered him further. A sudden heavy hit to my face causes me to fall on the floor.

"Told you not to fucking glare didn't I?! I should be the one looking down on you, bastard."

Multiple hits started landing on me throughout my whole body. I laid there letting out a brief exhale through my nose as my mouth plastered an irritated smirk. ...Asshole.

He continued, this time kicking me in the stomach. I was dragged out the door. Before he closed it, he gave me a few more kicks and went back in, slamming the door shut.

Only a sigh escaped out of my lips as I got up slowly, pain throbbed throughout my body. Dusting myself off, I notice that familiar car of Ethan parked right in front of my house. I walked towards it and got in.

The car was filled with silence. Colin was surprisingly here as well, usually he doesn't hang out with us that often. He was sitting in the passenger seat.

I could see Ethan glancing over at me from time to time through his rear-view mirror. Colin silently looked in the opposite direction of my house. Kyle, usually the cheerful one, blankly stared at his shoes with an awkward expression. Jess, as brave as she always is, looked at my house angrily.

"Let's gOoOoo," I said, breaking the silence.

"You're not going to address what happened?" Jess angrily asked through her gritted teeth.

"What's there to address?" I smirked, masking and trying to hold back my grunting.

"Your face is bruised! Your dad is a fucking piece of shit!" Jess's eyes were filled with fury.

"Doesn't matter does it? I get bruises all the time from fighting other people don't I?" I licked the cut on my bottom lip, "What's the difference?"

"We're going to Hot&Dogs, then go over to Cecilia's place. We can change our plans though if you want to," Ethan said calmly, keeping his gaze on the road ahead.

I shook my head no, "Let's go over to her's," and a smirk escapes my lips.

"Do you need a bandaid?" Colin asked.

I scoffed at him, "Ew what happened to the unbothered nonchalant Colin I know! Aww how adorable. Are you worried?" I tried lifting the gloomy atmosphere.

Colin flipped his middle finger.

I heard Kyle huff out a laugh, "An ass as always."

"What?" shrugging, I chuckled.
