Mayu shifted a little, stretched, and yawned softly. If she was honest, that was the best sleep she'd had in, well, ever! She opened her eyes and instantly turned red. Sesshomaru was only inches away. She then remembered last night making her sigh softly.

'I must have turned over and accidentally moved closer.' She thought as she carefully sat up, then got off the bed. She moved to his side and carefully retucked him in, then she silently walked out.

'Fetch that list, make breakfast, fetch him if he doesn't wake by then so he can eat, then take care of things from there.' She thought as she made it to Rin's room. She opened the door walking in and over to the window, then she opened the window's wooden doors letting fresh dewy air come in. Rin stirred a little, stretched, then let out a big yawn.

"Morning love. Ready to eat?" Mayu asked with a warm smile.

"Yeah!" Rin chirped making Mayu laugh. She got Rin up and made her bed while she got dressed, then she took her to the dining hall.

"Ah, Amaya. Just got back?" Mayu asked seeing a very tired Amaya walk in the dining hall.

"Hmm, yeah." She stretched letting out a strained groan.

"I was just about to make breakfast. Wish to join?" Mayu asked tilting her head.

"That actually sounds nice, then I promised to take Yuki out today." Mayu smiled.

"It won't take long. Now, wait here love, it'll be done soon." Mayu said kneeling down and booping Rin's nose gently making her giggle.

"Ok!~" She chirped. Mayu smiled and walked to the kitchen to see Eri.

"Morning Eri." She greeted as she joined Eri to help her.

"Morning Mayu! Say, have you seen Sesshomaru-sama? His mother wished to see him but she couldn't find him." Mayu sighed softly.

"I sent him to bed last night, he's already worked himself to passing out yesterday. I'm surprised he stayed away while he and Kōga discussed things last night." Eri frowned.

"That's not like him, he usually doesn't drain that easy." She muttered.

"He's stressed Eri." She nodded.

"I can see it in his eyes." She pointed out.

"If only the others could too." Mayu muttered.

"So, how did you convince him to stay in bed?" Eri asked curiously.

"It took a lot to even get him out of his chair! When I did though, it was pretty easy thankfully. He was sore so I gave him a massage, then he commanded me, very tiredly I may add, to stay the night so I did." Eri froze, then looked over.

"He asked you to sleep with him?" Mayu turned bright red.

"N-Not like that!" Eri thought for a moment, then laughed.

"I would have asked if you mated with him if I was asking that hun." She said with a giggle calming down from her laughing fit.

"O-Oh. And yes, he did. He also asked me to rest with him a couple of days ago outside on that swing bed you guys have." Eri looked down at the counter.

"I wonder." She whispered under her breath.

"Hmm?" Mayu hummed curiously. Eri then shook her head with a smile.

"Never mind it, I'm just not used to seeing that behavior from him is all." Mayu sighed.

"I think it's because you, I, Rin, and Amaya are the only ones who believe in him. He trusts us more." Eri nodded.

"He's still young, because of that, people see him as unable." Mayu huffed.

"Foolish." Eri laughed. They finished the cooking and walked out to serve breakfast.

"Eri, mind keeping an eye on Rin while I get Sesshomaru-sama? He needs to eat too." Eri looked surprised for a moment, then nodded with a smile.

"Thank you." Mayu said before walking out of the dining hall and to his room. She knocked just in case he was already up, but she got no response. She smiled softly.

'Still asleep.' She carefully opened the door walking in and closing the door behind her making some of the guards stare, then look at each other giving a silent 'She's dead' look. Mayu walked over to him.

"Sesshomaru." She spoke. Nothing.

"Sesshomaru." She spoke a little louder. Nothing.

'Don't need rest, huh?' She thought before placing a gentle hand on his shoulder, he instantly tensed.

"Sesshomaru.~" She cooed softly to soothe him. He relaxed as he slowly opened his eyes.

"Feel better?" She asked with a slightly playful tone. He didn't respond, he only reached up to rub his eyes before turning on his back.

"Breakfast is also ready." He glanced over, then sat up running his claws through his messy hair. Mayu smiled before looking over seeing his top and his armor pieces. She walked over picking up his tops folding them neatly before setting them beside him as he turned to let his legs hand over the bed.

"O-Oh, and not to start the morning like this, but Eri mentioned your mother was looking for you last night. It must've been after I brought you to bed, she couldn't find you." He sighed heavily.

"I'll deal with that later." Mayu smiled.

"Just keep a calm level head and it'll go by faster. I know that's easier said than done though I'm sure." She said as he put his tops back on.

"Mmm." He hummed before standing up, he didn't even bother to put his armor back on. Mayu made his bed making him glance back for a moment, then leave the room.

'Thank the gods above that he's complying.' She thought before tidying up a little more, then she pulled the paper out of her kimono.

"I suppose I can go around down and ask what is most needed." She muttered, then smiled tucking it back in her kimono. She walked out and walked back to the dining hall to see Rin cheerfully telling Sesshomaru about her day at the village, and to her surprise, he was eating. She smiled, then walked over to Eri.

"I hate to ask, but can you watch Rin while I run an errand for Sesshomaru-sama?" Mayu asked softly so Sesshomaru didn't hear.

"Of course I can." She said with a bright smile.

"Thank's Eri, you're the best." Mayu said with a smile.

"I'll be as quick as I can." She said before rushing out of the dining hall to get ready for a town run.
