~Chapter 33~

"So, will you finally admit you had too much last night?" Mayu asked with a soft laugh. Here was Sesshomaru, trying to wake up with a killer headache, let alone his aching body in general. He only let out a mix of a hum and a tired growl.

"You and Amaya decided it was a good idea to challenge each other. She ended up puking and you just kept going until I took it away from you." Mayu said as she scooted a little closer and placed a gentle hand on his cheek, the back of his wrist covering his eyes. He whispered something, but it was so quiet Mayu couldn't hear. She frowned a little, now she was worried if he was ok or not.

"What was that?" She asked as she leaned a little closer.

"Sorry." He spoke a little louder.

"For what?" Mayu asked. He didn't answer making her sigh softly.

"Are you ok Sesshomaru?" Mayu asked in a worried tone. He nodded before turning over to face Mayu, his hair falling over his eyes though he seemed to not care. Mayu smiled softly as she carefully moved his hair.

"Are you sure? You don't seem too ok." Sesshomaru sighed heavily.

"I drank too much." He rasped out making Mayu giggle.

"Thank you for finally admitting it. Now, need something for that headache of yours?" She asked earning another nod. She smiled as she leaned down placing a gentle kiss on his cheek.

"I'll be back." She said as she got off the bed and covered him up properly. She glanced down, she was wearing his top once more. She looked over seeing the outfit Eri made neatly folded where she had left it last night. She decided to get dressed quickly before heading out.

"Morning Mayu." Eri greeted with a smile.

"Morning Eri." Mayu said with a smile.

"So, how's Sesshomaru doing?" Eri asked in a playful tone.

"Well, he's admitted that he had too much to drink so there's that." Mayu said with a nervous giggle.

"Ah, I see. How about I take Rin for you and you give him a hand?" Eri asked.

"Thank you so much, I was just about to figure out how to balance them both." Eri giggled.

"Well, good luck." Mayu nodded, then they parted ways. Mayu made an herbal drink that should soothe his headache, then she brought it back to his room. When she walked in, he was sitting up a little hunched over, his hair covering his face from her view like a curtain. 

"Sesshomaru?" She spoke walking over worried if he was ok. He barely moved to look over, he looked so tired. Mayu sighed as she walked over holding the cup out to him.

"Here it should help. Then after that, how about a nice hot bath hmm?" She asked with a sweet smile. Sesshomaru nodded as he took the cup and took a drink. Mayu let out an amused huff before she reached over moving his hair so it wasn't in his way again.

"Let me start that for you. Will you be ok walking on your own?" Mayu asked as she walked over to his wardrobe pulling out a fresh set of clothing.

"Yeah." He muttered. Mayu nodded and walked out heading to the bathing area. She started the bath as she said she would, then she made it just how he liked it. She also decided to light more than one candle this time and close all the windows so it was nice and calm in the room. The door opened making Mayu look over, Sesshomaru walked in topless, his bottoms barely hanging onto his hips, hair a mess, looking like complete hell.

"Aww, you look so pitiful." Mayu said with a laugh as she walked over and carefully cupped his face in her hands.

"So how about when I say you've had enough, you listen next time. Huh?" She teased a little. Sesshomaru closed his eyes and leaned into her touch making her heart swell. He was so cute when he's out of it.

"Come on then, in you go." She said as she walked him over. He took off the remaining clothing he had on as he slowly sank in with a drawn-out sigh. Mayu sat on the edge of the bath placing a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"Get nice and relaxed now, we still have to see the others off later." Mayu pointed out as she decided to give him a gentle massage. He relaxed under her touched and nodded. Soon, Mayu started messing with his hair. He had so much of the stuff, you could make a wig with it and he'd still have enough for himself. Sesshomaru opened his eyes and glanced back at Mayu while she had her fun, the gentle smile and soft rosiness of her cheeks made him smile. Amaya was right, there was no point in hiding it, there was no need. Nothing could go wrong as long as she was always by his side where she was safe. Once he was finished, Mayu walked out and to the main hall letting him dry off and get dressed, though he wounded up catching up with her before she got there.

"You look lovely." He pointed out almost randomly making Mayu perk up, face reddening a little. She smiled softly.

"Thank you." She said. He held out his arm so she took it closing her eyes contently. When they made it to the hall, they were met by a surprise.

"Kōga." Sesshomaru greeted making Mayu open her eyes and look seeing Inuyasha and the others catching up with him. Kōga looked over, then walked over.

"I've sorted out what we possibly could as of now." He spoke before glancing at Mayu who gave a warm smile.

"Thank you." Inuyasha took a double-take.

"Are you still drunk?" He asked making Sesshomaru glare at Inuyasha and growling lowly. Mayu patted his arm softly before letting it go and bowing.

"Thank you for your aid, Kōga." She thanked. 

"My pleasure. Though, I am curious, what is the next course of action?" Kōga asked. Sesshomaru thought for a moment.

"May we discuss it over breakfast?" He asked.

"I don't see why not."
