Casual or formal? That was the question of the day. Like seriously, Kai could have given me more of a clue than "dress nice". I decided to go for formal. I put on a laced red dress and cream coloured high heels, not my style, but this was a date.

I curled my hair and put on some natural makeup. I kept changing my outfit though, I wanted to look perfect, I was so anxious about this...

My doorbell rang at 7, just as I got ready. I took a deep breath and opened the door. Kai stood at the doorway holding a bouquet of roses. I gushed and I felt the warmth travel through my body. Kai looked so nice with his shirt and jeans, he made an effort too... I took the roses from him and thanked him. I placed them in water, grabbed my purse and left the house with my date.

When we got outside there was a sleek red Ford Mustang Convertible parked outside my house. Wow I thought, such a beauty.
"Is this car yours?" I asked.
He nodded as he ran ahead and opened the passenger door for me. What a gentleman.
Whilst I had already known Kai for a while, I was nervous for this date, as this wasn't just a day hanging out with friends, it was more.

The car ride was quick and Kai was saying over and over again how beautiful I looked, and I blushed every time.

We arrived at a restaurant called "Blossom", it was well known for having delicious food and the luxury it served for the rich. It was a beautiful white building with balconies and flowers could be seen everywhere. Wow I thought, Kai really out did himself, bringing me to the best, most beautiful restaurant in town! As we got out, everyone was looking at us in amazement, I could hear whispers... "They're going to the Blossom, wow they must be rich, look at the car, what a cute couple."
I felt like a celebrity...

The door was opened for us and the waiter led us up to the last floor, the rooftop. It was mesmerising... The roof top part of the restaurant was overlooking the city. There was flowers everywhere and blossom trees in every corner with a big pink one in the centre. At the edge, there was a beautiful table set up with food and wine already waiting for us.

As we walked up there, Kai pulled the chair from the table to let me sit, and then pushed it in. I was so amazed. I looked around this beautiful location, it felt like a fairy tale with all the fairy lights and blossom trees surrounding us.

"Your eyes are sparkling so beautifully..."
"How couldn't they, this is amazing! You did all of this for me?" I said with my eyes gleaming at him.
"Of course" he replied as he took my hand in his.
We had 3 courses, with the main course being vegetarian lasagna which was my favourite and dessert was a strawberry cheesecake.

Everything was so good, the smell of the lasagna and the fresh strawberries still lingered in my nose after I finished. Kai had all of my favourite food, he was so considerate. It turns out he asked Mickey what my favourite food was!

The evening was perfect. We talked and talked as if we had known each other for years. The wine was hardly touched as we were too into our conversations. I learnt so much about him and his life and he about mine. The night was beautiful with the blossom petals falling around us like gentle snow and the city lights shining and reflecting into the river next to us.

We didn't even feel time going and before we knew it, it was late and the restaurant was going to close soon. We didn't want the night to end. I had never been so happy!
Kai was literally perfect, his looks, his personality, everything. Despite this, Hunter would sometimes pop into my mind like an annoying bug. Why couldn't Hunter be like Kai I kept thinking.
Me and Kai walked downstairs into the main area, there we heard some intense arguing between a group of people. We ignored it and exited. Me and Kai decided to walk home instead, Kai would get his car tomorrow. We walked in the empty beautiful streets, it felt like a dream. He held my hand as we slowly walked talking and laughing. It was a calm night with just a gentle breeze, yet Kai still put his jacket around me.

"I'm not cold Kai" I said to his kind gesture.
"I know but isn't it what guys do on dates?"
"I wouldn't know, I've never really been on a date..." It was embarrassing, but true. I've had countless boyfriends but never a proper date.

We approached my house in no time, that's what happens when you're with good company.
I turned to look at him near my front door. We looked into each others eyes and his was beautiful, his pupils expanded when he looked at me, a sign of love.

He pulled me in and gently kissed my lips, his kiss warmed my body and I felt some sparks.
I kissed him back, more passionately. We were kissing like mad and I felt dissolved into him. It was wonderful, but, I didn't feel the same fire as I did with Hunter... There he is again! Back in my mind!

My fingers gripped his hair and I pulled him closer to me. I held onto his muscular arms as he held me up. His face had a slight stubble but I didn't mind as it rubbed my skin. I just wanted him and I wanted fire. Everything about this moment was sweet. His lips were as sweet as honey and his cologne satisfied my nose.
I reached for the door knob as I knew where this was going. But before I could unlock the door...

*RING RING*
Damn I thought, what a way to ruin the moment. Kai lowered me down awkwardly as I answered my phone.
"ALEXA WHY THE FUCK DID YOU LEAVE?!"
Shouted a recognisable voice, Hunter's voice.
