Chapter 23

                                                                                ~~~Magnolia~~~

"We should be there in a few minutes..." Addison says, and I nod. 

We're in an Uber on our way to the hype house, if only I could tell you how excited yet tense I was, but I just cannot explain it. It was a weird sensation, like when you're about to go on a very tall roller coaster. Well something like that but worse. We're talking about going to a house full of  celebrities. You might say it's stupid, YoU wEre JuSt At ThE sWaY hOusE. But it's different, one there were just two people there and I knew both of them, then Addison came but like it's Addison. And two, I'm close to them, Bryce, Anthony, Tayler even if he's not a part of the house are like brothers to me, and then there is Josh, he's super sweet so if I went to the Sway and Josh was there I'd still be comfortable if I'm being honest the only thing making me uncomfortable in this scenario would be...Jaden. But anyway. I don't know anyone other than Dixie and now Addison at the Hype house. They're all strangers! I fell like I'm invading their space and forcing them to meet me if you know what I mean, I feel rude even if I was invited there.

Soon enough the Uber stops, and there it was the so famous mansion filled with tiktokers. We paid and stepped out, us the driver started to drive away he yelled, "please give me five stars", which made Addison and I chuckle. Addison opens the huge front door and steps aside letting me go in. She closes the door as I look around, one of the living rooms was filled with trampolines, there were stands and light rings everywhere, people were laughing from upstairs, others were filming in the other living  room and others were jumping on the trampoline, doing all sorts of tricks. I was left there, mesmerized. Imagine living with your best friends in a mansion at such a young age, being so successful and doing the things you love. Addison and I start walking to the filming peeps, and I'm directly taken into a hug, "I'm Avani!" She says as she let's go. "I'm Magnolia!" I say excitingly. 

Someone sitting on the couch immediately looks up from their phone, "Mags?!" It was Dixie, she gets up and runs to me, taking me into a big hug. "Jesus it's been so long!" She says, "Dixie it's been three days." We laugh, and people that were in the trampoline room came towards us, everyone hugged me and presented themselves, they were all so nice, "Charli should be here any minute she had a photo shoot" Kouvr says, I nod. We were all talking and laughing, when someone comes in, it wasn't Charli, it was the other person missing.... Tonycopter. I've seen his nudes, yes this is going to be awkward. Whatever you do Magnolia please don't say Tonycopter out loud. "Hi guys!" He says walking in, his eyes fall on me, he smiles and waves as he comes forwards, "I'm Tony!" He says, yeah I know... "Magnolia, nice to meet you!" I add, I put out my hand for a handshake and he takes it. 

 During our awkward, silent handshake, the door opens once again, revealing Charli with a very large iced coffee from Dunkin' Donuts. "Charli come here!" Dixie says from behind me, "this is Magnolia." She adds, Charli smiles and waves, "Charli, Chase doesn't stop talking about you..." she says and we shake hands. "I hope that's a good thing, hope what he says is good..." I say, now getting a bit anxious, "Oh yeah, don't worry about that!" She says, "I'm gonna film a tiktok, wanna be in it?" She ask, my jaw drops, a tiktok with Charli, how honored. I nod and smile, she tells me to follow her, we go up the stairs and take a few turns until we make it to a familiar bathroom, cHaSe's BatHrOom, in other words the tiktok bathroom. We did one to the sound, "Till the end" by Ynw Melly, basically the, "I'm skooly, ayy I got your bitch off a xan xan..." yeah that. And surprisingly enough we got it first try. "What' your tiktok?" She asks me, well you see I don't have one, I do I just don't post... "magnoliaxyork  don't post tho.." she looks at me, shocked, very shocked, "Girl look at you, you're gorgeous, you would be so successful! We're filming one right now!" She puts her phone down, after clicking post. After what felt like an eternity, we found the sound we wanted. We pinned some sounds too to do after. The timer started...3...2...1... and the song "sugar" by Brockhampton started playing. We did the dance and I posted it tagging Charli. Soon enough, my phone started blowing up with notifications from tiktok, I went through some comments....

"Who's here from Charli's video, btw she's gorgeous!"

"The perfect person doesn't exi- never mind"

"Wow you're so pretty, you deserve the hype"

Most of them were so nice, I even like some of them, but then I came across some other, which made me frown.

"Attention seeker"

"Clout chaser"

"Ewwwww she's so ugly, why is she at the hype house?!"

"Ugh why is she with Charli, she doesn't deserve being at the hype house!"

Why do people have to be like this, what's the point of trying to bring someone else down?! It doesn't make them any better. "Don't let the hate get to you, you're gorgeous!" Charli says, I give her a warm smile, "let's make another one!" I say, she starts jumping in excitement, "That's the spirit!" After about half an hour of just filming tiktoks, we decide to go downstairs and join the others, "MAGNOLIA GET OVER HERE!" Says Tony from the trampoline, as he jumps up and down. I smile and wabble over to him hoping tops the tall trampoline. He moves to the side, "can you do tricks?" He says, I smirk, I did gymnastics for years. I was a level 8 gymnast. I do a few flips, some back handsprings and other stuff. Getting tired pretty quickly. Tony and I sit on the trampoline and start talking about random stuff, "wait what's your Instagram?" He asks, "magnoliaxyork same as my tiktok." I say smiling, I check my phone for the time, 17:53 damm! I should really go. "Hey Tony... I think I should go, but it was great meeting you!" He smiles, nods and waves at me as I walk in the other room to say goodbye.

"Wait before you go what's your number?" Charli and Avani ask simultaneously causing both of them to start laughing, I give avani my phone num and tell her to share my number with Charli and basically whoever wants it. And with that I leave the house. 

As I step in my house, I take a deep breath in satisfaction and the smell of homemade food hits me. I walk in the kitchen to find my aunt cooking, "hey lyss!" I say, I walk up to her and hug her, "what do I do?" I ask, "Hey mags! Well you could put the table up, the food is almost done. I nod and put two plates on the table along with all the cutlery and cups.

Lyss serves the food and I serve some drinks, then we both sit down to enjoy our meal. "So what did you do today?" She asks, I take a second to take in every event today. "Well..."
