Chapter 47

                                                                        ~~~Magnolia~~~

"Do you wan to call the girls over and have a sleepover?" Payton says from the other side of the room, I look at him confused... "You sure you want to be the only guy?" I say, kind of laughing, "who said i'd be the only guy?" he says, "Oh yeah, then who else will there be?" I ask, "Dylan, he's in NC" he says, "Why didn't you tell me before! i always wanted to meet him!" I say, "But yes I'm down for a sleepover" I say. He smiles and nods and diving back to texting someone.

"ILL GO" Payton shouts as there is a knock at the door, Riley, Ansley, Eliza and I were talking on his bedroom floor while he went downstairs to get the door, "So ladies, who do we have crushes on?" Ansley says with an evil smirk, Eliza shoots her a dirty look and Riley simply sits there unbothered. "Eliza?" Ansley teases, "Fine! payton..." she says, this is so childish, "Oooooh" Ansley says, "How about you Magnolia?" she asks..

~~~Flashback~~~ 

"This is perfect!" Jaden said looking around my backyard, I had put fairy lights up, and set up a picnic for the both of us, his eyes seemed to glisten with the reflections of them... I looked at the boy in awe, he was simply perfect. "What?" he says in a innocent voice, "You're perfect" I say... "I'm far from perfect.. you on the other hand" he says walking over to me, he picks me up and gently spins me around.

He puts me down and we stand there in silence, locking gazes. "I love you Mags" he says, I smile and smash my lips against his, there were fireworks, like how they said there would be when you're in love... I pull away and look back at him, "I love you too"

"What about mags?" Payton asks sitting down next to me, "We're trying to figure out who she has a crush on" Riley answers, "Well that's not a tough task" he says smirking, "Shut up Payton" I say, "What I'm just saying" he says, Eliza was literally fuming, "Then who?" Ansley asks, "No one" I say, "Mags come on, you're a bad liar" Payton adds.

 "Yeah and you talk too much" I say standing up, "It's not a big deal Mags" he adds, "Fine, I don't have a crush on anyone because I realized it's not just a crush, and Eliza you don't have to worry because it's not Payton, It's Jaden" I say, looking at Payton dead in the eyes the whole time, I wasn't mad, I was overwhelmed though. "What?!" Payton asks, "Uhh" Eliza says, "Okay! WHo wants to play truth or dare?" Ansley asks, "That's the root to problems" I say, looking back at the last time I played.

"Sure but it's fun" she says, "yeah but before anything, Hi Dylan" I say, "Hi!" he says, I just realized he has been there the whole time and it must have been a bad first impression.

"I'm not playing, I don't even want to hear of that game for the next few months" I say, getting chills, "Why not?" Payton asks, I look at him making a weird gesture, "Oh right!" he says, "I'm going to Faith's room" I say before walking out, leaving them all in a circle about to play.

I walk past a few doors before making it to hers, "Do you smoke?" she asks opening the door before I had even knocked, I nod smiling, "great!" she says immediately pulling me inside her room" she took a small back from the back of her closet and opened the window signaling me to follow her, she steps out of the window and climbs on the roof, I do the same. 

"Wow" i say, looking up at the stars. "I know, they're beautiful..." she says lighting up a blunt, taking a hit and passing it over to me, I take one too, then give it back, "I was trying to quit, but I needed this" I say chuckling, "oh I'm so sorry" she says, "No no don't be, I could have just said no" i say, smiling. She does the same... "i needed to talk to a girl, it's been a while" she says, "It always feels good to" i say, taking another hit. "I think I'm gay" she says, oh okay so straight to the point, "What makes you think that?" I say, passing it to her, "i'm not sure, I guess it just is what it is" she adds, "Well, you'll figure it out eventually" I say.

She nods, "you're right" she says, "i'm sorry, i skipped the whole conversation process" she says chuckling a bit, "It's okay don't worry" I say chuckling as well "This is awesome, I was low key getting overwhelmed in there" I say laying down on the roof and simply admiring the stars, "It was just a matter of time, Eliza gets me on my nerves, but the others are nice" she says doing the same as I. "yeah I guess" i say, "she was a bit of a bitch at the beginning" I add, "I bet, she always it" she turns her head and looks at me, "You know I'm glad you're here" she says, "I'm glad I came, god I don't want to go back" I say, sure I'll miss my friends and all, but one could get used to this, "yeah, it's great here... I'm going to college in New york.."

"What?! That's great!" I say, "Yeah it is, but I'm really going to miss this" she says looking around, "One will always miss home, but in the end New york is going to be good for you" i say. "Yeah, I think we should go back in" she says, "it's starting to get cold" she adds, "Bet, let's go" this was an interesting convo...

"I'm going back to the others, thanks by the way" i say, "no if anything I should Thank you" she says shooting me a smile, "see you later tho" I add, she nods and with that I walk away from her door and make it back to the other room. i open the door to find Payton kissing Eliza, Ansley freaking out, Dylan playing the guitar and Riley looking annoyed, "What the fuck is going on here?" I say, "we were playing spin the bottle" payton says looking at me, "Mhmm" I say looking around.

"let's watch a movie" i say, "YES!" Riley says finally looking up from her phone, I just want to get over with with today. 

I lied, I want to go back to LA, I want to talk to Jaden, I want to try it again, for real this time, be serious about it once and for all.
