Chapter 68

              ~~~magnolia~~~

"I told you Ryland, i am the best" I said watching our scores on the tv screen after winning like four times. "Yeah yeah whatever babe, im better with other things" he said winking at me, "You're so gross" i say laughing. "Who's trynna go swimming" Dixie says coming down the stairs in a swimming suit. "Yesss" I say running over to my bag, I grab dixie's arm with one hand and my bag on the other pulling her upstairs with me.

"I missed this so much i swearto god" she says sitting on the sink counter as i started to change. "Imagine being stuck in a house with only guys then" i say giggling. "Yeah at least i got addi and the girls here, poor you girl" she spoke up once more, "dont rub it in my face" i said dramatically, "Oh dont be dramatic, im sure the guys are cool." she said, "Yeah i really gotta admit, they always have my back" I said with a soft smile  as i realized how lucky i am. "I'm assuming you say the post on tiktokroom" she said, i nodded, "I dont really know what to believe if i'm being honest, i hope its just a misunderstading but.... i dont know." i said putting the strap of my one piece on my shoulder.

"How about we forget about him and that tonight, and we have fun." she said reassuringly. "Whole point of tonight" i smiled. We walked down the stairs and continued to talk abiut random things and how quarantine had been. As we reached the bottom of the stairs i noticed Nick on his phone fully dressed. I walked up behind him and held on to his shoulders, "Get up and get a swimming suit on less go" i said, he looked up and smiled, "be right out" he said standing up and walking upstairs.

Dixie and I walk outside to the pool, it was starting to get dark and the lool lights were already on. "This pool is much nicer than the sway's one" i say looking doing at the calm water. "Im also nicer than anyone at sway" Dixie said with a cool tone while rubbing her chine with her finger and thumb. i giggled and returned to looking at the water. It was all calm for a few seconds.  "come on less staring more swimming!" Dixie yelled as she hugged me and threw us in the pool. "DIXIE!!" I yelled kind of laughing. "CANON BALL!!" Nick yelled as he jumped in the pool right next to us.

"YO rylandd turn the music up and get in!!" I yelled at him from the pool, "COMIN" he said from the door. A few more of us got in the pool and it was a good time over all. The song first time by Elliot Trent started playing in the background setting quite a mood. "hey" nick said swimming up to me, "hey" i said smiling, "you look really pretty" he said shily... "you look really good yourself" i followed. "so... how are you?" he asked, "well, you know... im fine, how are you?" i asked "i'm... here" he smiled softly. We stared at eachothers eyes for what felt like an eternity, it wasnt even awkward.
It felt right. But... forbidden?

"do you... do you remember what you said the last time i came over?" i ask hesitantly, "Sorry... dumb question, you were blacked out drunk" i added... "no... i remember" he said looking for my eyes. "does, does the offer still stand?" i asked, "For you? always will" he answered, "but you barely know me though" i said, slightly confused. "Well... let's change that." he said putting a strand of hair behind my ear making me slightly blush, what the fuck magnolia, no. You're still with Jaden. But... wbat if he did cheat? What if he doesnt even care anymore- Stop... you dont know that.

"You might have to wait" i say taking a step back. "I will, even if its years" he said. Snap out of it you whore  the fuck is wrong with you- Even if so. Josh, what about him? I cant. Even if i wanted to. I couldnt do that. I love Josh. I do. But its not... meant to be. And i think we both know it deep down. And nick, dont do anything stupid mags what the fuck is wrong with you-

"Cut it off or get a room, the sexual tention coming from you guys is so fucking thick i could cut it with a KNIFE" Dixie said rolling her eyes, leaving the both of us shook.... not that she was wrong.

"So..." i say trying to lighten the mood, "haha... so...." he said slightly nervously. "why teddy bears?" i blurred out the first question that came to mind.... really mags? why teddy bears? are you stupid or something? "I dont really know if i'm being honest. They're just cute" he says giggling a bit at the end. "Yeah i guess so..." i smiled, not really sure of what was next. "This is....suddenly very awkward" he added. "Yep" i said starting to nibble on my nail. "So umm.... You want a drink?" He asked. One drink magnolia. One.

"Sure.... umm ill take a whiteclaw i guess" I said smiling at him. "One white claw coming right up, mango?" he asked, "Sure" i nodded. He got out of the pool and walked away to get the drinks. "Mags--?" Dixie says comming up to me confused. "What--?" i said hitting her back wjth the same energy. "Jaden you dumb fuck, i k ow i said to forget him tonight but like y'all are still together" she scolded me in a joyful way i guess you could say.... "Shut the fuck up bitchass, i know im not gonna do anything stupid" i said with the same tone. "Sure sure stoopid, go easy on the claws" she said swimming away.

"Here" Nick said handing me a mango whiteclaw as he drank his own sitting on the side of the pool. "Thanks bebs" i said opening it. He smiled and took another sip. "So tell me about yourself" he says. "Umm... what do you want me to tell you?" i ask. "I dont know like.... what do you like to do? Where were you born? When's your birthday... Favorite holiday? How's your family" He said. My facial expression completely changes when he brought uo the family part. "Oh my god... wait im so sorry" he says, "No no, its fine, dont worry" i say putting on a smile once more.

"Well... I play bass and sing for fun i guess, i love dancing... I was born here in LA. My birthday is in  a month and a bit, July 18th, id be finally an adult yay.... My favorite holiday is deffo Halloween. And well my family should be in a better place right now" i say trying to be positive, I look up at nick who was just looking at me. "what...." I smiled, "You're just cute" he said, "oh shut up nick, how about you?" i smirked... "Well not as interesting as you i guess. I dont really know what my hobbies are, but i was born in San diego, July first. Christmas for sure. My mom is doing okay you know, and with you, wouldnt mind bottom" he says smirking, "huh- oh.... you nasty" i said shook.

"I mean...." he said not easing up the smirk, "Yeah yeah in your dreams babes" i say rolling my eyes. "i bet i can make them go further" he joked, "Okay okay there woahh, noooo" i said, "Time out time out time out, imma just go over to dix real quick.... Think about your actions bebs not 18 yet up to you" i said with a 😌 typa expression.

I swim over to dixie who was talking to Avani... "He's wild whatttt" i say with eyes wide open, "shouldve warned ya...." dixie smirks, "well.... shitt, i mean not that i complaining" i say doing a debby ryan face, "You nasty bitch" Avani spoke up, "hey hey hey, dont blame me my boyfriend cheated.... i think" i say, "Not finna do anything stupid tho dont worry." i say, "The more you tell me to not worry i worry more" Dixie says, "yeah yeah sure imma just go grab another claw" i say getting out of the pool. The more you tell me to not worry i worry more.... whattt.... im responsible... tfff.... well....
