"So, can you guess where we should go from here, Vaati?"

It was time for you two to get going. Rito Village was still quite far away. Taking all that time to recover from your injuries had been a waste in your opinion, but Vaati begged to differ. Besides, you had been able to sort out different things, as well as come to a certain agreement regarding the Triforce, Princess Zelda, and the Hero.

"If I'm correct, we should go west from here, up until Central Hyrule, where we should start going northwest in order to reach the Tabantha Region."

You nodded. "Good. Even if you don't know what roads or bridges to take, there should be signs on the roads sometimes, at least when they split into different directions." You looked ahead and sighed. "It's a long road yet, though..."

"Gods, you truly are a real life princess, aren't you?" Vaati teased.

"If you say that one more time, I swear I will claw your eyes out."

This kind of bickering had been common since the day you'd first met. Now, though, it really didn't bother either one of you. It had become more of a way to bond, if anything. Even the way you responded to one another had become second nature.

It actually felt quite nice.

Vaati sighed in defeat before slowly coming to a stop. "Alright... How is your magic faring so far?"

"You've been training me all this time. I think you should know."

"...Right, whatever. I have an idea. Come here." He held his hand out to you. When you took it, he held you close to him, as if you were midair and about to fall. "Don't let go now."

We had to lay low around these parts...
Returning to this point, I couldn't help but remember the day we turned back on the road, instead of going back home.

'I'm against this... but I'm with you,' he'd said.

Even as a young knight, he was willing to go against the King's orders, if only to help me.

And I... I was so scared. I was so scared, but I knew that I had to set out on this quest now. I could not wait for the King to give me my orders.

My premonitions were never as clear as Hers... But I had the Goddesses on my side. We had the Goddesses on our side.

So far, my visions had led us to different places and given us no tangible clues or tools, but... but I couldn't stand around doing nothing while Hyrule's doom continued approaching slowly.

The Spirit of the Sword spoke clearly: soon, Hyrule as we know it would be no more.

But I was not alone.

I had a friend to rely on. Someone who had always listened to me, no matter how much nonsense would come out of my mouth. Someone who had helped me get a glimpse of the outside world while I was locked within guarded walls.

...He was the only person who had ever believed in me.

Link had always been by my side no matter what.

Even though there was solid ground beneath your feet, your head continued spinning violently.
