Thanks for all of your suggestions ❤❤

Joe put a jar down in front of his daughter, who was eating the dinner that her Mummy had just made, "pick one."

"Huh?"

"Pick one of the papers, and we'll do it tomorrow after dance or on Sunday." Joe explained. He and Dianne had recently had a discussion and realised, with them being so busy and her being poorly and tour creeping up on them, Connie had been a bit neglected by them, especially because she had spent half term with her Nanny and Grandad. So, Joe had invented the Connie Jar. It was a glass jar, that used to be a big jar of dairy-free nutella filled with activities they could do in London on any given day. They weren't weather dependent and could generally be undertook by either Joe or Dianne.

She wiped her pesto-y hand on her pyjama bottoms and reached in, pulling a yellow slip out. Connie pushed her plate back, and unfolded the page brow furrowing. "Sound it out Monkey."

"C-ci-n-n-ema the cilema?"

"Yeah and what else," he pointed to the other word.

"Swi-swimming! Ooh yay!"

"So, you get to pick, Daddy," he pointed to himself, "or Mummy."

Connie looked between them, continuing her pasta, "not both?"

"No, there's quite a bit of work to get done so the next couple might be separate is that alright?"

She nodded, "Daddy first. Then Mummy for the next one."

"Okay! So, after dancing we'll come back, get changed and then go to the cinema watch a film, then go swimming and come back and spend the evening with Mummy." Joe explained, taking his own bowl and sitting down. Dianne had cooked but wasn't eating it herself, opting to order something in. "Thanks love, you sure you don't want some?"

"No thank you though, nah pasta's not my thing. Was it nice though squish?"

"Extremely, can I have it again?"

"Yeah, I'll make some next week."

"No now as well. Please?"

"Oh, you want more, okay," she scooped the remaining pasta in her bowl. It was like a pasta salad, with cherry tomatoes and raw peppers mixed with homemade pesto that Dianne had made so there was no cheese in it.

"Thanks."

"It's delicious, thank you," Joe pouted for a kiss.

"That's okay, I'm gonna jump in the shower, I'm feeling a bit stiff," Dianne stretched, pecking his lips.

"I'll give you a massage later."

"Can I have a massage?" Connie asked, "and a shower with Mummy?"

"Come on then, finish your dinner."

"Ooh goodie!" Connie giggled, eating the last few bits of pasta at record speed, taking Dianne's hand at the bottom of the stairs.

"Daddy's gonna tell us off if we leave your clothes like that," Dianne said, closing the curtains as Connie walked along stripping. She opened the laundry hamper and let Connie drop her clothes in.

"Quick get naked Mummy."

"Give me a second we need towels and some heating," Dianne laughed, locating Connie's mermaid hoodie towel and her own dark ones. She had wanted to wash her hair but Connie had wanted to join and Joe's grout wouldn't forgive her.

"Mummy," Connie said, once they were in the shower, music playing, "I'm having a baby."

"Are you? How is it you know?" Dianne was directly under the hot water, doing some stretches to try and loosen up.
