Just a heads up I slightly messed up the timeline in these chapters (last two, this one and next one) I totally forgot I had an idea for Mother's Day, so can we just imagine that mother's day was at least a week after it actually was 🙃 (around the 28th)! It doesn't affect anything just don't be surprised by the contents of the next chapter.

"Happy Mother's Day to you! Happy Mother's Day to you! Happy Mother's Day dear Mummy! Happy Mother's Day to you!"

"Aww baby!" Dianne said, lifting Connie onto the bed, kissing her forehead. Noticing Joe awkwardly hovering, carrying a tray full of what she assumed was breakfast, she beckoned him over and laid a hand on the back of his neck, pulling his face level with hers, kissing his cheek. "What's all this?"

"It's a special day just for you Mummy and look!" Connie waved the card she had made with her Nanny at her, "vis was 'efore I knewed about my baby so I made an over one just from my baby because you'll be hims or her Mummy too."

"Aww thanks Con, here, let me sit up darl, and have a little to eat and nick Daddy's glasses," Dianne said, feeling a little queasy. Joe had woken her up nearly an hour previous in hope of her not feeling so bad when Connie came but evidently it hadn't quite worked.

"You feel a bit poorly Mama?" "Not feeling great honey?"

"A little bit queasy Con, and Dad. A bit. Not too too much. Enough that my lovely pancakes and my medicine will make me feel a bit more well."

"Take it easy then Mumma," Connie said, stroking Dianne's hair.

"Oh I will honey. Right, Daddy, glasses."

"Yep," Joe put them on her face and kissed her temple.

"These are lovely. So this is me and you and oh my goodness, is that Daddy? Is he sat in a tree?" Dianne giggled, pointing to the part of the drawing that was so obviously Joe.

"Yup and that's our new house that we're going to have when our baby arrives and that's our Doggy."

Dianne kissed Connie's cheek and hugged her tightly, "I love it so much. So much!"

"You dibn't even open it yet!" She replied still squashed into Dianne.

"I know but the front is just gorgeous baby. Okay, maybe Daddy can read it for me so I don't hurt my eyes?" Dianne asked, passing the card to Joe, who had got in next to her.

"Yep okay so Connie has written in her most neatest handwriting, 'To Mummy happy Mother's Day I love you so much and I never ritted a Mother's Day card for my actulaly mummy so I don't really know what to write maybe just I love you and I'm happy you're my mummy and you love Dada so much happy Mother's Day mummy love from Connie Louise Sugg' and in baby sister or brother's card she has written," he picked it up.

"Wait! Mamma has to look."

"Oh yeah," Dianne took the card off Joe and looked at the front. It was all the more simple but it was very obviously a portrait of their new family, with a Dianne who had a round tummy and a baby in it, "I love it, that's going to be us soon isn't it? With a big belly and even more love!"

"Yep, that's why I drawed it. Okay I read?"

"Yeah okay," Joe said and wrapped his arm around Dianne who managed another bite of pancake.

"I did rit, to Mama, pecause that's what the baby will say," Dianne nodded, closing her eyes which were aching, "to Mama I am the baby in your tum-tum stealing your food and energy and making you poorly so I can grow and meet my big sister Connie Louise. I love you so much like she and I can't wait to hug you and drink milk from your boobies and poo. Parently it Mother's Day so happy Mother's Day Mama. Love from Raspberry Sugg ritted by Connie."
