~Laura's POV~

The next eight weeks went by seemingly fast.
Kaiden and I started to spend more time together as the weeks progressed but he still hadn't told any of his friends that I was pregnant with his baby. I was now fourteen weeks pregnant and as I looked in the mirror I could see the slightest pump that put me past weight gain and into 'Possibly pregnant'.
As I walked into English I felt like everyone was staring at me, even though they actually weren't. I'd started wearing baggy jumpers and shirts to try and hide my ever present baby bump but there is always that little sliver of doubt that everyone already knows.

"Okay so I have totally noticed the looser shirts, are you showing already?" Lexi asked in-between bites of her sandwich later that day.

"I'm almost fifteen weeks pregnant of course I am." I grumbled as I took a bite of my apple.

Laughing she smirked at me, "Has Kaiden told anyone you two are like, together?"

Taking an audible gasp in I chocked on a piece of apple, causing people to turn around and look at in my direction, "We aren't together Lexi, you know that."

"You've been spending so much time together though?"

"Planning things for the baby." I corrected.

She shrugged, "You guys will end up getting together though, I can feel it."

"I wouldn't hold your breath. He's embarrassed about me having a baby, he hasn't told any of his friends yet."

"Why do you care?"

Sighing I put the apple down on the table, "Because it's like we are his secret."

"He probably doesn't know how to tell them that's all."

"I hope your right."

"I know what you could do!" She whispered loudly, clapping her hands with excitement.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Tomorrow wear something tight fitting, then he will have no choice but to tell people."

Although her plan would work I wasn't entirely ready for the whole school to know that I was pregnant with Kaiden Hunters baby. I also knew that when he told his friends the news would go around the school before I could say baby.

"Maybe but I think that would be the wrong way, I could just ask him?"

"No way is that a good idea, seriously you're showing now and eventually people will have to know that you're pregnant. Why not come out in style?"

"I'm Pregnant Lexi, not gay."

Flipping hair over one shoulder, she smirked. "And?"

"It's not normally a good thing to be seventeen and pregnant."

"At least if you came out that way it would be like your totally fine with it, like you've embraced the pregnant."

Laughing I chucked a grape across the table that managed to hit her square in between the eyes. "Your insane you know that right?"

"Of course I do and that's why you love me."

"True."

Smiling I looked down at my swollen stomach. Maybe I could wear something tight and walk around like the sudden stares and rude comments didn't hurt my feelings? Who am I kidding, there was no way I could do that.

                                                                                                       ***

"Mom, Dad I'm home!" I yelled into the empty house.

"They aren't here, dad thought he would take mom out on some kind of date night thing."

"Harley, I didn't know you were coming home?" I asked my brother, jumping down on the couch next to him.

"I wasn't but then I heard you were home alone and though I might come keep you company."

I grinned, "How about we watch movies until we fall asleep, like we used to?"

Harley jumped of the couch and headed over to the television. Flicking the remote in my direction he pulled out a pile of movies from the cabinet.

"Great idea, Harry Potter marathon?"

"Exactly what I was thinking."

Half way through the second Harry Potter the doorbell rang, pealing myself of the sticky leather couch I skipped over to the large brown door. Kaiden stood on the other side, three take away containers sitting precariously in his hand.

"Kaiden? What are you doing here?"

He held up the containers as if it were obvious, "Thought we could have dinner."

"Sorry my brother's home and we were just hanging out, maybe tomorrow night?" I apologized.

A look of disappointment clouded his eyes, "Yeah that's cool. Keep this I wouldn't want it to go to waste. You two have a good night."

Passing  the containers over he jumped down the steps and began down the pathway.

"Hey man, where are you going?" My brother called from beside me.

Turning around Kaiden smiled slightly and raised his right hand in a wave, "Just came to see how Laura was doing, now I'm leaving."

"Come watch a movie with us, looks like you brought enough food to feed an army."

"Is that ok Laura?"

Both boys turned to look at me, it's not like I could say no. "Yeah that's fine come in."

Kaiden followed us inside and sat on the recliner chair. Every couple of minute I would look up and catch him watching me, but as soon as our eyes met he would shoot them back to the screen. By the time Harley put the third movie in my eye lids were beginning to grow heavy. I hadn't realized how tired I was until a couple of hours later I woke up in complete darkness.
Fiddling around in the dark I managed to find something that felt like a lamp, eventually my fingers skimmed across a light switch. Flicking it the room was cast with light. I was in my bedroom but I don't remember going to bed?
On the small cabinet beside my bed, a little note stuck to the cool wood. On the yellow post it a few words were scribbled across the soft paper.

Sleep well you two xx

Maybe tomorrow I could wear something tighter, better late than never right?
