Kai flew around the kingdom, observing what is happening around the kingdom. Allies were fighting with each other, after being hit by the Void. His brothers were struggling to contain the Void. There were a few attempts on barriers, and people were seeking cover from the Void.

Of course, Kai was immune to Void since he did already control his Reverse.

"Perdition Dancer Eulalia, Dragonic Blademaster, Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion, Lightning Princess Anastasia," Kai summoned a few of his mother's dragon familiars, "Aid the people, disperse!"

His familiars went to all directions: North, South, East, and West. Once again alone in the middle of the battlefield, Kai looked up at his real opponent; the Void.

"Toshiki, can you hear me?" A voice filled his head, Mikuru.

"Mikuru?" 

He felt her smile, "That's right. Thanks to the Goddess, I was able to transfer my soul to the Link Joker within you."

"I see," Kai told them inside his head, before spreading his dragon wings. "How do I get in?"

"Charge in forward, and we'll help you from there." It was Mikuru speaking this time. "But we'll be needing Misaki to help us too."

Kai began to fly headfirst to Void, "But how? She's in that building healing up."

"Don't worry, someone's going to help her," Megami assured her son. Kai didn't have time to guess who, as he reached the center of Void. It was as though it swallowed him whole. He suddenly didn't see the realm he came from. It was dark.

"Stay calm, and don't panic. Don't let it take control of you. Just know your priority, defeat it." Mikuru told him before something blocked the connection between them. 

'I've been here before, this was the black void I was in the first time Reverse took control of me.' Kai couldn't help but remember. The black and lonely void he was in.

Out of nowhere, his opponent appeared in front of him.

"Kai, it's been a while. You haven't been going on missions with me, what's with that?"

Kai's eyes widened.

"Miwa, you're Void?"

Misaki found herself back in the astral plane, Cray, regenerating the last remaining burns she had. She felt a different kind of magic present in the plane and immediately shot an attack towards the magic present. However, the soul was able to stop the attack.

The goddess' eyes widened upon seeing who it was. She had brown hair and emerald green eyes, and she wore a white dress that hugged her body. She didn't know what to say, it was Kai's mother.

"M-Megami-san," Misaki couldn't help but stutter. Megami just smiled. The former Dragon Queen's smile reminded the goddess of her own lover's smile,

"It seems you already recognize me," The woman laughed, "Looks like all that thinking on how I should introduce myself really wasn't necessary."

"But, how? Why are you here?" Misaki couldn't help but ask, before covering her mouth realizing that what she said might've been offensive. Though, the woman only laughed.

"I'll explain that later. Right now, you need to help Toshiki defeat Void." Misaki and Megami were suddenly transported back to the battlefield, where Kai was fighting Void.
