"Morning will come, it has no choice."

•The war was over, and the Demon Realm was now free under the leadership of the four brothers. Kai immediately collapsed right after defeating Void, and he still hasn't woken up after five days. Misaki also fainted, but she was able to wake up on the third day.
Staring at her lover, she pouted. She truly didn't know when he'd wake up. Using Link Joker and his awakening his dragon form really took a toll on his human body. He lost so much magic after using both his magic at the same time. As for her, she also had to give up a few things after the war. The astral plane, Cray, was no longer her responsibility.
"Misaki," Shin knocked on the door. Misaki was a bit surprised to know that her uncle came to the demon realm.
"Come in." The door opened, revealing the oracle in a formal outfit. Misaki raised her brow.
"What's with the outfit?" She asked.
"Oh, just came from a meeting with the other oracles and the gods." He replied casually.
"A meeting with the gods? What did they say?" Misaki couldn't help but be nervous. Of course, she was a goddess but since she had human blood, she was considered a demigod.
"Well, they wanted to congratulate everyone who participated in this war. They wanted to invite the five dragon princes to get their honor and reward."
Misaki's anxiety eased as soon as she heard that she would face no punishment at all. Shin couldn't help but smile at his niece.
"You know, your mother was an oracle who became a goddess, so she was also a low-level god. However, she was respected and adored by even the higher gods for her intellect and skills." He told her, which seemed to have calmed the lilac-haired girl a lot.
"I see," She replied curtly before turning her attention to Kai's sleeping body.
The room fell into a comfortable silence as the two continued to wait for Kai to wake up.
"Tell me, Shin," Misaki broke the silence, facing her uncle, "Do you really not remember a woman Mikuru, or Kourin at all?"
Her uncle froze for a minute. Misaki waited for his answer, before looking at his face and realizing that tears had formed at the brim of his eyes. Her own eyes widened.
"Uncle Shin, I--"
"How could I forget my wife and daughter? Even after they deleted my memories and ruined my reputation as an honorable oracle, my heart has never forgotten them at all."
Misaki remained silent, not wanting to interrupt her uncle with his moment. He needed someone to listen to his problems, and that person would be Misaki.
"I didn't want you to end up like me when I found out that you and Kai had something going on. But, after reconsidering how you looked happy with him, I supported you." He sent his niece a soft smile, "And I'm happy I did. Because now, I've seen you truly smile with joy."
Misaki couldn't help but smile at her uncle as tears formed at the brim of her eyes. She wiped them off and embraced him in a tight hug, before hearing a loud bell rang from the heavens.
"It seems I must go," Shin stood and walked to the door, "Also, please tell Kai that I'll be praying for his recovery."
Misaki nodded as she watched her uncle shut the door of Kai's bedroom. Once again, her attention fell on the man shell fell in love with. She couldn't get herself to read anymore, she couldn't wait any longer.
