Greendale, a town in which every day feels like Halloween and is home to two siblings: a boy and a girl. They are half-witches rapidly approaching their 16th birthday, and as such, have to make an important decision. They must choose between their human half and remain in their high school with their long known friends, or their witch half and attend the Academy of Unseen Arts like their father before them. Those siblings are my dearest sister Sabrina Spellman and myself: Connor Spellman.

"I was confused by the zombies. I mean, why were they so freakin' slow,"' Sabrina's boyfriend Harvey asked as the group filed down a staircase after watching a riveting rendition of Night of the Living Dead.

"Fast-moving zombies is a relatively new concept in horror. Earlier incarnations assumed that reanimated corpses were afflicted by rigor mortis, and, as such, moved slowly," Sabrina responded without breaking stride, albeit in a rather lackadaisical tone.

"Combine that with the occasional mortician who ties the shoelaces of their cadavers together, and the potential for the reanimated to have lower brain function and you can imagine the results," Connor added.

Roz gave Connor a funny look, "You really think morticians do that?"

Connor simply shrugged his shoulders as the group walked past a couple discussing that they thought it was just outright weird. Connor's eyes drifted over to a group of jocks at the base of a staircase pushing each other around. One gestured over to Susie who looked down, having been the subject of their cruel treatment. Another noticed Connor standing among them and quickly waved the first off.

Next thing Connor knew, Sabrina was bumping into another woman. "Oh, excuse me," the woman said, attempting to correct her balance before asking, "Sabrina?"

"Ms. Wardwell, hi," Sabrina said chuckling, "I didn't know you were a fan of horror movies."

Harvy popped in, "Sabrina's nuts for 'em, the gorier the better."

"Well, um, who doesn't enjoy a good scare every now and again, especially this time of year," Ms. Wardwell asked before replacing her glasses on her face and leading the group outside the theatre.

"Ms. Wardwell, we have a tradition of going to the movies and then to Dr. Cerberus's to dissect whatever we just saw," Sabrina asked, "Do you want to join us?"

"I have papers to grade," Ms. Wardwell curtly replied, "But thank you, thank you for the offer, really." She shifted to cut her way through the small crowd that had formed at the front of the theatre before waving and saying to the group, "See you in class, guys."

Sabrina put on a smile, Roz waved, and Connor gave her a two-finger salute as she walked away.

Roz leaned over to Sabrina, "'Brina, why would you do that?"

Sabrina's smile had faltered as Ms. Wardwell had taken her leave, "Invite Ms. Wardwell?"

"Yeah."
