Connor just stared at the creature in front of him: a snow-white fox with one blue eye and one green eye.

Connor suddenly heard a soft, velvet-like, female voice in his head, "It's a bit rude to stare, don't you think?"

He checked his surroundings and pinched the bridge of his nose. His lack of sleep was most certainly affecting him if he was hallucinating like this.

The voice was back, "You're not going mad," Connor looked back down at the fox sitting in front of him.

It playfully cocked its head to the side before Connor heard the voice yet again, "Yes, I'm talking to you, silly."

"You did summon a familiar, didn't you," The fox asked amusingly.

"Yeah, I did," Connor realized, "I take it that you're volunteering?"

"I am."

"Well," He started, "What's your name?"

"I assumed that you would grant me one," The fox replied.

"Well, you'd be incorrect, so, what is your name?"

"Eyasluna, however, I have been called 'Luna' from time to time."

"Eyasluna, I like it," Connor declared. He could have sworn he heard her giggling.

"You have a sister, do you not," Eyasluna asked.

"Yes, she's out attempting to summon a familiar right now."

"Shouldn't you be out there with her, you two seem close."

"Uh, 'Luna, I just met you, how would you know how close I am with her?"

"The picture of you and who I assume is 'her' on your night-table."

"Ah, that makes sense," Connor said as she giggled.

"Let's go find your sister," Eyasluna declared hopping off the bed, "If all of these books are any indication, I'd say that you are a good spell caster."

Connor pulled on his boots and grabbed his backpack before chasing in the direction that his sister had gone.

Timeskip:

Connor had trailed Sabrina to a bit of a clearing in the forest, the red of her coat making her stick out against the thick, green foliage. Eyasluna had taken to his backpack, her head sticking out of the top as she watched for anything unusual behind him.

Sabrina was about to etch a rune into the ground before Connor spoke up, "You gotta ring the bell first, sis."
