Connor and the coven approached the house, seeing Sabrina pleading with Ambrose, who spotted the approaching group and pointed in their direction.

"While the blood moon still shines, you must sign the Book of the Beast," Father Blackwood told her.

She still hadn't seen her brother, "I will not! There is another path for me, just as there was for my father and mother. A third way. And even if there isn't, my name is Sabrina Spellman, and I will not sign it away!"

Connor couldn't help but feel a pang of pride in his sister, standing up to someone as powerful as Blackwood definitely took some guts.

Blackwood, however, wasn't as impressed as he turned to the weird sisters, "Girls," as he nodded his head towards Sabrina.

Ambrose suddenly lurched forward, "A circle of protection rings this house, and no witch, save a Spellman may cross it."

Seeing that the advancing witches weren't deterred, he continued, "Any unwelcome witch that tries shall burn! So please, go ahead."

Father Blackwood contemplated his threat before retreating to the woods with the coven, minus the Spellmans.

Sabrina turned to Ambrose and asked softly, "When did you put a protection spell on the house?"

Connor walked up to his sister, "He didn't, but that'd probably be a good idea."

Ambrose disappeared inside as Connor draped his jacket over Sabrina's shoulders, pulling her into a hug. Both of their aunts walked past them wordlessly as she held onto her brother as if her life depended on it.

He led Sabrina up to her room, neither had said anything, but Connor could tell that she felt betrayed by him. She flinched as he closed her door, still clutching the jacket tightly around her shoulders.

"Sabrina," Just saying her name was all it took, she finally let out her emotions, sinking to the ground in tears. Connor pulled her up, practically carrying her to the bed before catching her eye.

"Hey," He said softly, hugging her again, "Talk to me."

"It's just so wrong, Connor," She sniffed, "I don't want to lose everything."

"I know, I know," He said soothingly, rocking her slightly, "You'll never lose me, though, I promise."

Sabrina held onto her brother tightly, as if he'd disappear if she let go, "Why, why does it have to be so hard," She whispered to him.

"I don't know, 'Brina, I don't know," He whispered back honestly, "Go to sleep, it's been a long night."

She nodded into his chest, pulling back from Connor she looked like she was about to tell him something before he gently grabbed both sides of her head, looking her in the eyes, "Sleep, tell me tomorrow," he said, kissing her on the top of her head.
