Connor had finished his bath rather quickly, he expected that Sabrina would want to take a long one, and settled back into a pile of books.

"What are you looking for," 'Luna asked.

"I've been having this problem," Connor admitted, "My hands have been doing this thing where they get cold, like really cold."

"And you think you can find the answer in one of these books?"

"Unless you know the way to fix me, then they're all I've got."

'Luna began to look at all of the books on Connor's bed, pawing a few out of her way as she navigated the cluttered space.

"All of these books, yet you neglect to search in any related to matter manipulation, particle movement, or heat exchange?"

Connor felt like an idiot, "I've been looking for a witch explanation when a mortal one was there all along."

"Maybe, I mean, I'm just spitballing. It just seems like looking at curses when you haven't shown the signs of being cursed seems redundant, well, other than the weird sisters' curse.

Connor began to stack up the books, making a mental note to return them to Ambrose at midnight, he'd read them all anyway.

Timeskip:

Midnight had rolled around and Connor met with his cousin and sister in the prior's room. Sabrina's hair was still wet and she was in her nightclothes and robe.

Connor walked in with Ambrose's stack of books, returning them with a quick thanks.

Ambrose looked at the picture of Principal Hawthorne with a grin, "This isn't like you, cousin, using witchcraft to settle personal vendettas."

Sabrina, still standing in the doorway simply responded, "These are desperate times, Ambrose."

"You good, 'Bri," Connor asked.

She ignored him, "Now remember Ambrose, I don't want to kill Principal Hawthorne, I just need to give him a good scare. Ms. Wardwell told me he's terrified of spiders."

"Oh, that's easy then," Ambrose said, "It's lucky that Aunt Hilda keeps them as her familiars." He walked past her and handed Connor the picture of Hawthorne before returning with two cages of spiders.

"Are you sure you don't want to kill him," Ambrose asked, "Because we could do that."

"Easily," Connor piped in.

"Nope, I just need him to take a day or two off from school."

"Right," Ambrose said, "We'll only mildly traumatize him, then."
