Connor pushed open the doors to the Academy, winding his way up to Agatha's bedside, his cousin behind him.

"She doing any better," Connor asked Prudence.

"We've gotten her to keep some soup down, but that's about it," Dorcas admitted.

"I'm going to call Auntie Hilda," Ambrose said, heading off to find the phone.

Connor checked Agatha for her temperature again, she wasn't running one, but she was getting worse. The dirt she was regurgitating was basically gravel. If any of his reading was correct, for this to stop, either Tommy or she would have to die. A life was owed, and like it or not, that debt would be paid.

Tiny Timeskip:

"It started last night," Prudence explained to Aunt Hilda, who was checking Agatha's temperature much like Connor had earlier.

"Oh, I see. Yeah," Aunt Hilda responded, clearing her throat, "Well...the Cain pit is a miracle, really...but if you come back too soon, you'll make yourself ill. It's a form of decompression sickness, like when divers get the bends. Do it too fast and you're gonna vomit up half the cemetery."

"What do we do," Prudence asked.

"Well, I reckon she has too much Earth in her system," Aunt Hilda said, gathering her purse, "So we need to rebalance her elements. So, I suggest a tonic of fizzy water, which will give her water and air. And a dash of cayenne pepper for fire. Three times a day, for a week. She'll be right as rain."

"That's it," Prudence nearly spat, "Fizzy water?"

"Oh, but you'll serve it with love, won't you, darling," Aunt Hilda responded.

The three Spellmans made their way into the hallway before Ambrose stopped their Aunt.

"Not to question you, auntie," Ambrose said, "But you just prescribed Alka-Seltzer to a girl who came back from the dead."

"There's something to be said for keeping them busy," She whispered back."

"Ambrose," Connor said, "The dirt she's coughing up is practically gravel."

"Which tells me that Agatha shouldn't have been brought back in the first place," Aunt Hilda continued, "The Earth is owed a soul, it means to collect. So, nephew, pray, tell me. What was Agatha doing in the Cain pit in the first place?"

Ambrose straightened before telling Aunt Hilda everything.

"Is that why you were here so late these past couple nights," She asked Connor, who tiredly nodded, "Darling, go home, you look entirely exhausted."

He obeyed, throwing himself at his bed, barely registering his familiar pulling him close before he fell asleep.
