Relegating themselves to defeat, the Spellmans approached the desecrated church.

Aunt Zelda broke the silence first by sighing, "Remember, we carry ourselves with aplomb and dignity. We admit our wrongs, accept our punishment, and try to put this whole sordid mess behind us. Isn't that right, children?"

Thunder rumbled over their heads before Sabrina asked, "Do we have a choice?"

"No, not really."

The Spellmans entered the church, waiting to begin their trial, all the while Connor wanted to know why he was even there in the first place. He was obviously being used as a pawn, but to what end? Surely getting Sabrina into the Academy wouldn't stir up this much trouble.

"We, the profane, gather here tonight in this sacrilegious Court to serve the Dark Lord's justice," Father Blackwood paraded, " A deplorable crime has been committed against our master and savior."

"Hail Satan! Praise him," The crowd shouted.

"Praise Satan," Aunt Hilda mumbled.

"Sabrina Spellman stands accused before The Infernal Three, guilty of breaking her promise, her pledge, to the Dark Lord."

The crowd began to murmur amongst themselves, but Father Blackwood wasn't finished yet.

"Along with her brother, Connor Spellman, who stands accused of the same dastardly crime," He exclaimed.

"What," The weird sisters exclaimed, rising out of their seats, along with a somewhat decent amount of the congregation, "We witnessed him sign!"

Ignoring the pleas from the crowd, Father Blackwood continued, "When the accused are confirmed guilty not only will they abandon their mortal lives immediately, but, upon their deaths, they shall burn for 333 years in the Pit as his pleasure demands."

"Wait, no one mentioned anything about a punishment," Sabrina said.

"Accused, how plead you," Blackwood asked.

"They plead not guilty," Everyone turned to the man practically bursting through the door.

"Mr. Webster," Blackwood addressed him, "You are not unknown to this court, but you are unwelcome, sir, and uninvited."

"Untrue, sir," Webster said, "Where my clients go, I follow."

"Clients," Aunt Zelda asked, shocked, "Sabrina, Connor?"

"He's our lawyer, Aunt Zelda," Sabrina said smugly.

"What in the unholy Hell is happening," Connor practically shouted.
