Connor woke up like usual, getting dressed, making his coffee, prepping the tea kettle, but decided to sit in the parlor rather than the kitchen. He was joined by his sister not too much later. She elected to sit on the loveseat adjacent from him, Salem laying on the top of it.

Ambrose walked in a short time later, "Bacon, cous?"

"Yes, please," Connor answered, Ambrose held out the plate for Connor to grab a couple pieces.

"Eww, no," Sabrina said, repulsed, "After what I saw at the Church of Night yesterday, I am fasting. Maybe for the rest of my life, but definitely until later tonight."

"Oh," Ambrose said, intrigued, "Big plans?"

"Mmm," She hummed, "After Harvey's shift we're going to the movies."

Ambrose moaned, "How casually you can say that. Soon, Luke and I will be able to do the same."

'Luna pattered into the room, hopping up on Connor's chair.

"Fun, but how's that gonna work," Sabrina asked.

"Luke has a connection with the High Priest," Ambrose explained, "He's offered to speak with Father Blackwood on my behalf to get my conviction overturned."

Sabrina chuckled, "Ambrose, you are smitten."

Aunt Zelda stormed into the room, "Where is your Aunt Hilda?"

"Bookstore," Connor answered her.

"Yeah, it's Black Friday," Sabrina added on, "Remember?"

"It most certainly is not," Aunt Zelda denied.

"Mortal Black Friday," Connor clarified, "Not Witches' Black Friday."

"The busiest shopping day of the year," Sabrina said, trying to jog her memory.

"It's also one of our busiest times. The Kemper bodies are already on their way, and Satan knows who else," Aunt Zelda retorted, grabbing the ringing phone with a deep breath, "Spellman Mortuary, this is Zelda."

Her posture changed, concern flickering behind her eyes.

'I got a bad feeling about this,'  He thought to his familiar.

"Normally I'd disagree, but so do I,"  She admitted.

They were brought back to the conversation by Aunt Zelda saying, "No, we hadn't heard."

She pulled the phone down into her chest, "Sabrina, there's been an accident down at the mines."
