Saad's pov :
I glared daggers at her, my eyes burning in rage and irritation clear on my face. "I have a condition.”
"And may I know what that condition is, baby boy?" She leaned forward with a glint shining in her eyes, seeming interested.
"First of all, stop calling me baby boy." I clenched my jaw. I was already annoyed and she was making me more agitated.
"Alright alright, I will try. No promises though." She had an amused glint shimmering in her eyes as though she was enjoying this.
"I want to meet Alayna first, and only after I know for sure that she is alright, will I think about it."
"Alright. Thank God at least you will think about it! Even though I have a condition too, I will let you know about it later." She stood up in excitement. I had seriously started doubting if she was bipolar or something.
I continued to look at her incredulously as she went behind me. Only a few seconds later, I felt the ropes loosen up. Quickly moving my hands, I removed the ropes before doing the same from my feet. Standing up, I looked at that woman angrily. She was beaming at me. Strange. She was creeping me out now.
"Shall we proceed?" She asked me eagerly. I couldn't believe her! She was seriously crazy. Just a few moments back, she was dominating and now, she was being way too friendly.
"Please lead the way." Gesturing with my hands, I faked a smile. Laughing, she started walking in front of me after handing me my bag. I followed her silently, wondering where I got myself stuck. She headed towards the stairs and I realised we were in a basement. Or more specifically, a basement of someone's house because we directly entered a spacious living room.
Looking around the house, I examined it. It was simple yet looked elegantly colour coordinated. But it seemed too quiet, like no one was home. But oh how wrong was I?!

"You can sit, you know. And I'm glad that you met your sister." I looked at the woman - whose name I still didn't know by the way - as she kept the tray on the table and smiled. I seriously couldn't understand her. One moment she told me I wouldn't be able to find my sister and the other, she was telling me that she was glad I met her. Sighing, annoyed at her bipolar behaviour, I sat down with Alayna taking a seat beside me happily.
She sat on the sofa opposite to me with the other young girl sitting beside her. She still looked pretty confused.
"I'm Safiya and this is my younger daughter, Amira. The one you met earlier is my elder daughter Atifa." She introduced, beaming at me.
"Amira, this is Saad and you have already met Alayna, his younger sister." She turned to Amira with a smile.
Wait a minute. She knew my name? I didn't even tell her that! How come she already knew about me and Alayna? It wasn't alright, it was creepy and fishy. I shook my head and looked at Alayna. She had a frown on her face as she thought about something.
"So that means that you are Amira and Atifa api's mom?" Alayna exclaimed in shock, looking at that woman. I couldn't tell if it was more shocked or surprised.
Safiya chuckled before replying, "Yeah you got that right little one." She then turned to look at Amira, waiting for her to say something.
"Assalamualikum bhai." Amira smiled.
"Walikumussalam." I tried to smile back at her. She wasn't at fault here for anything that her mother was doing so there was no point in being rude to her.
