Atifa's pov :

"I was going for groceries when I saw your mom going out." Bhabi came inside.

"It's good that you came by. We were getting bored anyway and I didn't know what to do." Closing the door, I followed her.

"Then we can definitely enjoy!" She sat on the couch happily before frowning. "But where did she go?"

"Work." I replied, sitting beside her.

"Why? She didn't have a holiday today?"

"She has a holiday on Tuesday."

"Oh I see. That's good then. I can stay with you the whole day." She grinned happily. "Wait, when will she be back?"

"The usual time, around Magrib."

"Oh. So you mean to say, we have time till then? Wow. That's great! Then let's go somewhere!" She beamed.

"Where?" My mind went on alert mode with the thought of ammi finding out about it, especially after what happened in the morning.

"Ghumne kahi. Maybe we can grab something from the supermarket before heading to a beach or resort? What do you say?" She replied after a while, a thoughtful look on her face.

(To have fun somewhere.)

"Uh... you sure about that? What if ammi finds out?" I was unsure. It wouldn't be a good thing if she found out.

"Yeah, I'm sure about it. Sabka mood light ho jayega." She frowned. I wondered what she was talking about.

(Everyone's mood will lighten up.)

"Your idea is great, but... I'm still not sure about it. I'm worried about ammi. If she gets to know about it then..." I told her, worried. My muscles tensed as I thought about what she might do.

"Yaar, don't worry much about it. We will take care of everything. This is the reason why I'm telling you that we should go. Let's just forget about everything for a while and enjoy."

"Hmm... okay. But what about Saad's parents? Won't they object or say anything?" I looked at her, hoping that one way or the other, I could convince her that it wasn't a good idea. I didn't want to take any risk and lose them all again.

"Oh, don't worry about them. They are all cool. Nothing will happen." She waved me off happily.

"I hope so." I muttered under my breath, disappointed that I couldn't convince her.

If Emaan wasn't enough already, then I was sure, this woman was going to get me killed one day. For now, she was definitely taking Emaan's place in getting me into trouble. Ya Allah, please help us and save me. Aameen.

._._._.

Bhai and bhabi were here, all of us ready to go as we waited for him and Alayna to join us.

"Will bhaijaan and Alayna join us too?" Amira looked up at bhabi with her eyes wide and hopeful.

"Yes meri jaan, even they are going to join us. We are waiting for them." She replied sweetly, hugging her back.

(My life,)

"Yayyyy! This is going to be fun!" She squealed, making me smile slightly. At least someone was going to enjoy.

"In Sha Allah." I muttered under my breath, still scared. What if ammi decided to come back home early today? And what if she didn't find us here? What would she do? Oh my God, I knew this was a bad idea!

(If God wills.)

"How are you feeling now?" Bhai's voice brought me out of my frenzy. Glancing up at him, I smiled slightly, although he obviously couldn't see it due to my niqab.
