After breakfast, Jungkook managed to convince you to come over to his older brother's house later that night because he was having people over. You hugged Kookie goodbye and went home to get changed and ready before you went over to their house.

You went grocery shopping and got coffee to help with the hangover, doing something productive for a few hours before it was time to meet Kookie that night. When you got home it was five o'clock and time for you to get ready.

Your phone dinged, and for a second you thought it might be Jimin, before you remembered that the two of you hadn't even exchanged phone numbers. You opened your phone to a text from one of your girl friends you went to the party with last night.

Hey, she said, You're all good right? You had fun last night and you're safe?

You appreciated her checking up on you, and you tapped out a quick reply.

Everything's good!, you replied.

You pulled on a light purple hoodie and shorts, pulling on your sneakers before grabbing your car keys and walking outside. It was drizzling rain, so you pulled the hood over your hair.

When you pulled up at Kookie's brother's house, it was nothing like the party house you had gone to the night before. It was quiet, and as you walked up the steps you smelled bread and sushi, not booze and sweat.

You knocked on the door, and Kookie's brother opened the door.

"Yeodongsaeng!" he exclaimed, hugging you tightly.

"Hello Jin Oppa," you said, wrapping your arms around him. Jin had always been like an older brother to you, especially since you were an only child and didn't have any older siblings to take care of you. You and Kookie had always been like twins, most people thinking of you as a pair. That meant that Jungkook's family was your family.

Jin pulled you inside, and Jungkook yelled wordlessly as a greeting to you. Kookie hugged you and kissed the top of your head as Jin towed you into the kitchen.

Jin had always been a great cook. Jungkook could handle himself in the kitchen, but he was too lazy to help, and the rest of your friends were helpless when it came to cooking, except for you. Anytime you came over, Jin made you help, which you were fine with. Spending time with Jin was always easy, you never had to worry about doing or saying something wrong.

You briefly stuck your head into the living room to see who had come. You saw Kookie sitting on the sofa with his current fling sitting on his leg. You were pretty sure her name was Jeni, and she was giggly and clung to Jungkook like a lifeline. You saw Jin's best friends Yoongi and Hoseok smushed together in the arm chair, their fingers twined together.

Your eyes caught on the only solo person sitting on the sofa with Jungkook and Jeni. He was a boy with curly blue hair and a sharp jawline. When he glanced upwards at you, you ducked back into the kitchen with Jin.

Just in time, Jin pushed an onion into your hand.

"Dice that, please," he said, before returning to the other side of the kitchen to the stove.

As you started dicing the onion, Kookie strolled into the kitchen and perched on the counter next to you.

"What, tired of your new girl?" you teased. Jungkook rolled his eyes and peeked into the living room. You followed his gaze to see Jeni quizzing Yoongi and Hoseok.

"So... you guys are like... gay?" she asked, tilting her head quizically.

You and Kookie stifle your laughter, "I think she's entertaining herself," Jungkook said with a snort.

"And everyone else," you teased.

He shrugged, "She may be a little ditzy, but she's a nice person."

You raised your eyebrows, "Nice? Is that code for 'she has no gag reflex'?"

Jungkook swatted your arm playfully, but didn't disagree with you. You gave the fully diced onion to Jin and hopped onto the counter next to Kookie. You rested your head on his shoulder and let your eyes flutter shut. You felt him rest his head on top of yours.

"I'm tired," you said.

"Me too," he replied, "I think we're tired for the same reason." You snorted, and he only managed to keep a straight face for a few moments before he burst out laughing too.

You didn't know what you would do without Kookie.

Your eyes popped open as you heard someone come into the kitchen, and it was the blue haired boy.

"Hello," he said, leaning casually on the wall.

"Oh," Kookie hopped down off the counter and pulled me down with him, "This is Taehyung." Jungkook said. The boy pushed off from the wall and shook your hand casually.

"Hey," he said, his voice deep, "You can call me Tae."

"Hi, Tae," you replied, managing to smile at him.

"Taehyung, help me with this," Jin came and dragged him to the other side of the kitchen abruptly. You laughed and Tae smiled at you before Jin put him to work. You turned back to Jungkook, who was wiggling his eyebrows at you suggestively. You rolled your eyes and tried to act like you didn't know what he was talking about.

You heard a knock on the front door, and it opened and closed before Jin could rush out to open it.

"Hey, man."

"Hey."

You heard a familiar voice from the living room. Yoongi stuck his head into the kitchen.

"Hey guys-" he said, but before he could announce who was here, the new guest strolled into the kitchen.

"Hey everyone," he said, resting his elbow on the counter.

"Hey Jimin."
