The second she told Jimin he could leave, he did. He only hesitated for a moment, wondering if he should stay with her after what she had done for him, but he couldn't bear it. He couldn't stand there in his demonic ex girlfriend's presence any longer.

So he turned tail and ran. He didn't even bother to be ashamed, he just blindly ran in one direction as fast as he could. Luckily for him, most of the nearby guests kept their eyes trained on her and Micha, so he didn't have to worry about people staring at him.

He didn't stop until he found himself in a secluded place in the back of the garden, where he couldn't see or head the party or any of the guests. Jimin shoved his back to a cobblestone wall and slid down it, burying his face in his hands.

Micha's words stabbed into his mind, no matter how hard he tried to shove them away. He felt his face growing hot, his eyes pricking.

Fucking coward, he whispered bitingly to himself.

Micha was right. He wasn't a real man. He was stupid and reckless and emotionally unstable.

Jimin had watched her slap Micha across the face with the full force of her hand.

She wasn't working with Micha. She was innocent. And you had brought her to this party to mess around with her head and her heart, when it turns out she wasn't even doing the same to you. She was good.

What is wrong with me, he wondered fiercely.

Jimin shoved the bottom of his hands into his eyes, trying to force away the stinging. He wasn't going to fucking cry. His phone dinged, and he yanked it out of his pocket, glad to have something to distract him.

It was her.

Hey, she texted, Where are you?

Jimin replied immediately, not even bothering to think about what he could possibly say when she found him. Not even pausing to think that maybe it would be best if he wasn't found. He took a moment to look around and realize he was sitting right next to a patch of bright white roses before typing out his reply.

By the white roses, he said. She didn't reply, and he knew she was already on her way over here. He hoped she wouldn't remember exactly where the roses were, that way he would have some time to figure out what the hell he was going to say or do.

He sprawled his legs out in an attempt to look less like a fucking toddler when she found him, glad the tears hadn't spilled over his eyes.

It only took a few minutes before he heard fast footsteps coming towards him.

It only took you a few minutes to find the bush of white roses, and you went around the corner to find Jimin, sitting on the ground with his back to the wall. He looked up at you as you went to him, his expression unreadable as he kept his eyes on your face.
