Chapter 17

~CAMS POV~
It's been one month since I came out to all of my friends and me and Eric became a "thing".

Things have been going smoothly you could say. Matt has been staying out of my way and I've been doing the same. My upload schedule has been at an all time high and my fans love it! (A/N I wish lmao).

I guess I could say that I'm...happy.

I was sitting at my desk, my headset on, and playing some CS with Eric, Toby, and Jay just to get some content for my next video.

I was cracking some jokes and so were the guys, making us all die with laughter almost every two minutes.

"Hey guys, I'll be right back, gotta do something." Eric says after catching his breath from a laughing fit. "Alright Mate, we'll wait for you." I say with a smile.

I leaned back in my seat and flip my mic up, temporarily muting myself. A deep sigh leaves my chest and I shut my eyes, biting the inside of my cheek.

Toby and Jay were talking about something to do with last nights recording session but I wasn't paying much attention.

I heard a soft click coming from door and I turn my head to see what it was making the noise. The door swings open and in comes Eric, a smug smirk on his face.

He had been sleeping with me off and on for the past month but I wouldn't say anything was official yet.

I raise my eyebrow and roll my chair from my desk. I slid the headset from my being and rested it on the desk before turning back to Eric.

"And what do you think you're doing in here?" I ask with chuckle, crossing my arms over my chest. I stalks over to me and plops down in my lap, making me huff. "Uhm-...Eric? What are y-"

He cuts me off by connecting his lips to mine, his hands pressing my face to his. My eyes were wide open with confusion but quickly relaxed and closed shut.

Eric pulls away after a few seconds that felt like eternity. "I missed you." He says with a smile, one hand still resting on my cheek and the other pressed against my chest.

I blushed and looked down, rubbing the back of my neck. "Hun, you saw me literally 30 minutes ago." I say with a laugh.

He shrugs and pecks my lips one last time. "Am I not allowed to miss you?" Eric asks and puckers out his bottom lip, making a pouty face. I chuckle and roll my eyes. "Oh whatever, of course you're allowed to miss me. Now go on before the guys get suspicious."

He turns fully around on my lap and slowly rubs against me. "Oh come on Fitzy..." Eric teases with a wide smirk plastered on his face.

I swallow and bite my lip. "Eric, p-please...we can do this later. And you're lucky I have my mic muted." I say with a glare into his eyes.

He sighs dramatically loud and lowers his head. "Fiiiiine, I guess I'll go.." He stands up from my lap and without turning to me, leaves the room.

I watch as he shuts the door behind him and softly huff. "Dramatic heh.." I pick the headset back up and slide it over my ears. I guess while Eric was in my room, John and Jaren has decided to join as well as the one and only...Matt.

I rolled my eyes and ball my hands into fists at he sound of his voice.

"Hey y'all! I'm back, let's game." Eric says happily.

Well you're feeling better already.

All the guys, including me said our hellos and continued to get into a match. "Hey Cam, how have your latest videos been doing?" Matt asks me, a sarcastic tone filling my ears.

I clench my teeth together and bite my lip hard, sure that I drew blood. "They've been doing good, haven't been demonetized yet!" I say as joyfully as I could and added a chuckle just for effect at the end.

The other guys laugh and add their agreements and we continue with our recording.

After a little bit, Matt and Eric started to have their own little conversation about recording. I have to admit, I felt jealousy boiling deep down in my stomach, giving me butterflies.

I kept quiet and only listened to them talking, Toby and Jay butting in every now and then.

"How have your videos been doing Matt?" Eric asks softly, sounding truly interested. "Oh ya know, better than normal but never as good as ol fitzy here."

My toes curl inside of my shoes and I furrow my eyebrows out of anger.

Why am I getting so angry over this? He's just answering Erics question...

"Yeah! Guess I'm the best!" I say with a laugh. I pull my hand away from my mouse and flex my fingers over and over, trying to calm myself.

"Yeah, guess you are! Better than every single one of us!" Matt responds. "Heh shut up man!" I say as calmly as I could, trying not to sound angry.

I'm glad Eric doesn't know how Matt feels for him. I'd loose my mind..

"I mean it's true! Your obviously better than all of us, why not admit it?" Matt says with a smartass-ish tone.

Dude, shut up before you regret it...
Don't say anything stupid..

"Dude shut the hell up, you know I never meant to get so many subs, it just happened, asshole." I say lowly, squeezing my fists together.

"Hey guys, calm down, sheesh." Toby pipes up, chuckling. "Let's enjoy the game please. Goodness me."

I take a few heavy breaths before saying, "I'm gonna get off, I need to do some stuff." And turning off my game. I log off discord without another word. I hear Eric try to stop me before I left.

"What an asshole...I haven't done anything to him." I say under my breath to myself, leaning back in my chair.

A couple minutes go by when I hear a knock on my door. "Come in." I say, not caring who it was that entered.

I could've guessed from then and there that it was Eric. "Okay, we need to talk..."
