Selena's P.O.V

I closed the door after me and he looked at me until I sat down in front of him.

''So.'' he paused. "How've you been?'' he asked cutting the tension. ''Life has been hard, worked 2 jobs a day survived on 5 hours asleep but I'm breathing.'' I nodded.

''When you left that morning I woke up and Alana came down with the note saying you couldn't go through with it and not to worry about you. I knew I made the biggest mistake of my life, I made calls letting people know there won't be a marriage and I spent day and night in hospital police stations looking for you.'' he shook his head.

''I made the biggest mistake of my life and I spent 3 years thinking my daughter my dead."

''I don't belong here dad.'' I said he banged the table I jumped startled. ''To hell you don't this is your home.'' he said I shook my head.

"When was the last time you sat down had dinner with the kids huh asked them about their day in school, went to any of the boys soccer matches.'' I asked he looked at his desk.

''Work has you wrapped dad, you have people working for you, I don't see why you need to be in here all the time."

''I miss your mom, I can't sit around a table and see her seat empty.'' he said looking at his wedding ring.

''You think she'd like how this family has turned out, you too busy for your family with work, me running away from three years?'' I asked he shook his head ''She's be so pissed, she'd kill us both.'' he smiled softly at her.

''I made a life in New Zealand dad this is not home no more, it's more of a come and go B&B, this is not my life no more."

''You're only 20 Selena you have your whole life in front of you, you have a family here friends you can't go again, I'm not going to let you go again I don't care I spent 3 years without you, you really think I'm going to let my eldest daughter go again."

''You can't stop me dad I'm not a kid no more, who's to say I can't run away during the night again.'' he sat back in the chair.

''Because your sister needs you, your little brothers don't know you're here yet, what about them huh want to forget them as well.'' he challenged I sighed and his phone rang he looked at me I stood up.

''And it begins.'' I said and walked out of the room and walked back into the family room and I sat down then my dad walked in.

''I'm ever so sorry for having you witness today's fight's.'' he said Jaxon's family chuckled. ''Don't worry man nothing new to us.'' the man said.

''Let's go have a chat in private away from the ears.'' my dad said I glared at him as they walked out. ''So where's the others?'' I asked.

''3 boys in school other two in college not that you'd now.'' Vinny said. ''Grow up you idiot of course I know, you think I'd go away and not have eyes and ears here?'' I asked he looked at me then to Gabriella.

''You fucking knew.'' he shouted at her. ''Whoa bro watch who you are taking to.'' Jaxon said.

''Shut the fuck up kid.'' Vinny stood up as did Jaxon. ''No I fucking won't you little dick, that's your sister you are shouting at man have some fucking respect.'' Jaxon shoved him back Vinny jaw clenched and Jaxon's brother pulled him away.

''Alright, alright enough of the fighting and sit down.'' he said pushing him away from each other. ''You don't forget who you are talking to kid.'' Vinny said walking out of the room I rolled my eyes.

''You must have braze balls taking on everyone, you're not dad Vincent nor will you ever be so take you head out of your arse and grow the fuck up asshole.'' he growled at me and walked out I rolled my eyes.
