Chapter 30

Selena's P.O.V

As soon as my brain started rolling I felt shooting pain throughout my body. My head was hurting my eyes my hands my belly, and I had a bladder about to burst. I moaned in pain my finger squeezing the soft fabric under me.

''Selena.'' I heard a soft voice I hummed and I felt a hand on my cheek, I opened my eyes slowly, it was such a blur but after a few minutes of blinking the blurry face in front of me was Barry.

''Barry.'' I groggily said.

''How you feeling kid?'' he asked

''Dandy'.' he smiled and stood up.

''I'm going to get Justin ok.'' I nodded ok then he walked out and went down stairs. That's when I heard shouting and running up the stairs, by the time I blinked, the door opened.

''Pigeon.'' Justin whispered I smiled.

''Hi.'' I whispered he rested his head on my shoulder, nuzzled into my neck. The door closed leaving just me and him, he sniffled I rested my head on his.

''I thought you died.'' he said looking at me, he looked exhausted, his eyes were red and swollen. I rubbed under his eyes, he took my hand in his and kissed it.

''I'm a lot stronger than you think.'' he smiled.

''I know you are baby.'' I smiled and he kissed my forehead.

''How long was I out?'' I asked.

''A few hours, one of Barry friends from the local hospital came in gave us a hand stopped the bleeding and stitched you up.''

''That bad huh?'' I asked.

''You lost 30% of your blood, it's going to take a while before you are fully up and running'' he whispered.

''I feel good'' he kissed my cheek and laid on the bed beside me. I rested my head on his rubbing the back of his hand with my thumb. He didn't move after a while I looked down a bit he was sleeping. I shuffled to the side wincing as I done so and I sat up gently biting my lip in agony not wanting to wake him. I got to my feet and took a few deep breaths and went into the bathroom done my business then looked in the mirror I looked pale and drained. I sighed and washed my hands and walked out to the bedroom as the door opened

''Thank god you're awake.'' Halle said I shushed her she looked at Justin then walked over and hugged me.

''I was so afraid you'd die.'' I smiled.

''I'm fine doesn't hurt too bad, kind of like the feeling you hit your baby toe of something just by ten.'' she rolled her eyes and hugged me again then looked over my shoulder I turned around to see Justin she winked at me and left.

''You ok?'' I asked he walked towards me and kissed all over my face.

''I'm going to get you out of here ok and get you better.'' he said gently holding my face.

''No I can't, I've things to do.'' he sighed.

''You think you can go after Santiago in this state, you can barely even stand.''

''I can stand perfectly.''

''Why am I holding you up then.'' he challenge I looked down while sighing.

''I just want you to get better ok, I don't want to see you like this any more than I have to.'' I sighed.

''Where are we going?'' I asked.

''To our other place.'' he tucked my hair behind my ear.

''Our?'' I raised my eyebrows.

''What's mine is yours right.'' he said.
