Chika X You Yuri Oneshots

A confession song

You had noticed that lately Chika was spending more time with everyone else and talking with them more. She hated to admit it, but she felt really jealous. She knew Chika was the leader of Aqours, so of course the others were going to need her attention, but she hadn't even been able to talk to Chika for the last two days. She tried texting Chika, but Chika had sent texts saying she was too busy to text at the time.

It was late at night and You was laying in her bed. She was supposed to be sleeping, but her thoughts about Chika were keeping her awake. She also loved Chika, so she really hoped they weren't going to start drifting apart. She hadn't even gotten the chance to ask Chika out yet! Not that she was brave enough to though...

You sighed and tried to get some sleep. She needed sleep because the next day, Aqours's was supposed to put on a show. She was luckily able to get some sleep, but she had nightmares about Chika not wanting to be friends with her anymore. She woke up the next morning in a cold sweat when her alarm went off.

You quickly got up and got herself ready for the show. She had all the costumes for the show in a bag. She grabbed the bag and left her house. When she got to the bus stop, she saw Chika and Riko talking. She jogged over and tried to get some attention from Chika. "G'morning sailors!" She said and waved as she jogged towards them.

Chika and Riko turned around and smiled at her. "Good morning!" They both said. "What are you guys talking about?" You asked curiously. She wanted to join in the conversation and get to talk to them. Chika looked to the side and her face turned pink "Oh, it's n-nothing. Let's just get on the bus!" She said and got on the bus that had just pulled up. Riko and You followed her on.

'Why won't be talk to me about it? She looked embarrassed too.. don't tell me... she's not going out with Riko is she?!' You thought to herself. She felt like she wanted to cry a little if that was true. She didn't want to ask because she knew she would probably end up crying if she did ask.

Once they sat down, You tried to start up a conversation. "Heres the costumes for our performance today." You said and held up the bag. Then she set the bag on her lap and took out a costume to show them. "Wow! Those look great You-chan! I can't wait to wear them when we all preform together." Chika complimented. You smiled. So Chika was still wanting to talk to her. But.. why did things still feel awkward.

It kinda felt like Chika was hiding something from her. "I'm looking forward to wearing these too." Riko complimented. Riko then whispered something into Chika's ear and Chika blushed and gently hit her. You tried to smile at them and then looked out the window. Maybe the two really were going out. They were neighbors after all, so they probably talked a lot more.

The bus stopped at the location of their show, so they got out. You did her best to try to look happy. Everyone else was already there, so they walked to the back stage of the building together. You noticed that some of the other girls kept winking at Chika or whispering stuff to her. Chika whined "Stop it you guys!" She said. You wished she knew what was going on. Clearly everyone else knew something she didn't. You felt left out.

They arrived backstage and You handed everyone their costumes. They got changed into the costumes and everyone looked excited to go on stage. Even You was feeling a bit excited. She tried to shove her overwhelming worries to the back of her mind and focus on the show. She didn't want to dance badly and let everyone down after all.

She walked around and checked everyone's costumes to make sure the costumes fit ok. Soon it was Aqours's turn to go preform on stage. They went onto the stage and got into their starting positions. You took a deep breath and tried her best to focus on the song and dance. "You'll be fine, don't think about Chika too much right now." She whispered to herself.

Then the music started and they began to dance and sing. You made sure to keep smiling and looking at the audience. It was probably the hardest performance she'd ever done, but she wasn't going to give up. The song finally came to an end and everyone went into their ending poses. The audience cheered loudly. You started to turn so she could leave the stage when a loud voice made her stop for a second.

"Everyone! Before we go, theres one more special song i'd like to sing for an important friend of mine. It's a song i've worked hard on, and almost everyone in the group helped me put together music and lyrics for it." Chika said. Suddenly everyone in the the group except for You stood behind Chika and smiled. You just looked confused. Chika turned to face her and smiled. "I made this song for you, You. I hope you like it and understand my feelings." Chika said.

"H-huh?" You asked and blushed a little. Chika just giggled. Suddenly a new song started. A song You had never heard before. Chika started singing along to the music and continued to look at her and smile. You felt her eyes tear up a little as she listened to what Chika sang. It was a love song. All that time she had spent not paying attention to You was spent creating that song.

When the song came to an end, both Chika and You were blushing a lot. You felt a tear fall from her eye and rubbed it away. It was a tear of happiness and relief. Chika took a step forward "You... I love you. I want to be more than just friends..." she said. You ran to her and hugged her. She rested her forehead on Chika's shoulder and looked down so the audience wouldn't see her crying. "I love you too,  Chika." She said.

The audience all went "Aww!" and You felt a little embarrassed. She lifted her head and smiled at Chika, then kissed her. They kissed for about ten seconds, but during that time the audience was cheering loudly. You wiped her own tears away and looked at the audience. She giggled a little and waved. Then she looked at the rest of Aqours. They were all smiling saying things like "Finally!" or "Congrats you two." Or (Mari specifically) "Whens  the wedding?".

You hugged Chika tight. She was so glad that Chika also liked her. "So... will you be my girlfriend?" Chika asked just to make sure. "Of course!" You replied. The audience got louder with cheers.
