Princess You X Trader Chika

Once upon a time, in a dimension where magic and mythical creatures existed, there was a kingdom. The kingdom was known for its fast and strong Unicorns, and also for it's beautiful princess, Watanabe You. Her parents rarely had time to talk with her because they were always so busy giving out orders and listening to requests from people who lived at the town right outside the kingdom. She didn't have anyone else to talk to, so she was lonely. She spent most of her time with the unicorns and even had a favorite one she would ride often.

Not too far away from the kingdom and town, a trader was going around, trying to trade with people to make some money. Takami Chika. Chika had a bag full of mikans that she would trade people in exchange for other food, items she needed, or money. She never went very far so she could return to her small house everyday with all the things she got, but she was feeling more adventurous that day. She wanted to go all the way to the next town.

She knew it was right outside a kingdom, so surely she would be able to find some high quality items there in exchange for a few of her mikans. She walked into the new town, excited to see what people had to offer. Maybe she could even find people that were growing foods she didn't get to eat often. She usually ate rice, corn, potatos, carrots, apples, and mikans of course. Perhaps the people in the new town would have fish or bread. Back in those days, there wasn't a whole lot of food choices.

She looked around the town and found some people trading with each other so she walked up to them with her mikans to offer. Just as she had hoped, she got a loaf of bread in exchange for five mikans. That was a very fair deal to her since she had lots of mikans. She also got a used leather jacket in exchange for three mikans that didn't fit the other trader anymore.

Chika was very excited that she was making such good trades in that new town. Once she had traded all her mikans for the day, she went home. At her house, she put all the things she had gotten away and went to bed. In the morning, she woke up early and grabbed a larger bag to put more mikans in. She had gotten a really nice outfit in exchange for some mikans, so she put that nice outfit on too.

She had a mikan necklace that she always wore so people knew she was trading mikans, so she put that on. Then she went outside to her mikan tree and picked enough of them to fill up the bag. She was glad it was the time of year that mikans were in season. When they weren't, Chika would just have to try and manage with the items she had gotten while trading while the mikans were in season. She had trained herself to not each much, so she usually did fine.

Her family had all left to go trade in other places, so even though she was only 16, Chika was living by herself. Once the bag was filled, Chika left her house and hurried back to the town next to the kingdom to make some more good trades. It started raining that day, but Chika didn't care. She was in a good mood about going to get more fun stuff!  She saw a group of guys standing next to each other and talking and hoped they might have some things to trade with her.

She walked up to them "Hello there! I've got mikans to trade. Would any of you like to offer something for them?" She asked and smiled. The guys just looked at her and laughed "So your that new trader thats been trading everyone mikans. We've heard about you. You got a lot of good things in exchange for those mikans... things that we wanted!" One guy said and looked mad.

"Yeah! That I had my eye on that loaf of bread before you got it." Another guy said. "Well, you three are know how it is for traders. Early bird gets the worm." Chika said and nervously took a step back. Now the three guys looked really angry "I don't know why you came here, but go back to your own town!" The third guy said and pushed her over. Chika fell to the ground and a bunch of mikans fell out of her bag.

"H-hey!" Chika said and tried to collect her mikans. Suddenly there was a thud and a Unicorn landed beside her. Someone got off the unicorn and held up a cape to keep the rain from falling on her, then the unknown person picked up one of the mikans and smiled at her. Chika looked surprised, then looked up and saw the prettiest girl she had ever seen. She even started to blush a little. "P-princess Watanabe?" One of the guys stuttered.

"Which one of you three pushed her?" You asked, sounding slightly irritated. The other two guys pushed the guy forward that had pushed Chika. You glared at them "Well, if you have any sense, you better get out of here before I call the guards on you!" She said. The three guys ran off quickly.

Chika sighed with relief when they left. She looked back at You "Th-thank you for helping me, princess." Chika said. She quickly got up and bowed, the blush wouldn't leave her face. "Of course. Those three guys were being mean to you when you didn't deserve it. I was passing by so I listened to the whole conversation." You said.

"Oh. Well, thanks again. I should probably get going." Chika said and started to walk away. It made her a little nervous standing in front of royalty since she was only a trader. "Wait!" You should come to the kingdom. Your clothes are all wet now and I don't want you to catch a cold." You offered. "But... I'm just a trader." Chika replied.

You shook her head "That doesn't matter right now. I don't like that those guys treated you so harshly so I want to help you get cleaned up." she said. Chika noticed You was blushing a little too and wondered why. "Alright, I'll accept your offer then." She said. You smiled and got back onto her Unicorn, then she held out a hand and helped Chika get on behind her.

"Hold on tight to me. Unicorns can fly surprisingly fast." You ordered. Chika wrapped her arms around You's waist and held on tightly. Then the unicorn went into the air and ran through the air back to the kingdom stable. It took less than a minute because it ran so fast. Chika had to hold on even tighter, but she thought the unicorn was really cool. She had never rode one before.

When they got to the kingdom's stable, You got off the unicorn and helped Chika off, then led her inside and to her room. She gave Chika a nice outfit and told her to go put it on while she waited outside the room. Chika went into the room and started changing. While she did that, she looked around the room. It was really big, about the size of Chika's whole house.

When she finished changing, she opened the door to let You in. You walked in and smiled at her "By the way, I forgot to ask your name." She said. "Oh, it's Takami Chika." Chika replied. "Nice to meet you, Takami-san." You said. "Nice to meet you too, princess Watanabe." Chika said, remembering what the guys had called her.

"I want to be friends, so You is fine" You said. "A-are you sure?" Chika asked. You nodded. "Alright... You..chan" Chika said. It felt like she was committing a crime to call a princess by her first name and refer to her in a friendly way. "Yep! And I'll call you, Chika-chan." You said. Chika was feeling confused.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" She asked. She knew there had to be some really good reason for a princess to suddenly want to make friends with someone like her. You rubbed the back of her head guiltily "Well, you might not believe this, but when I saw you, I started falling for you at first sight. Thats why I offered to take you back to the kingdom after chasing those guys off. I hope that's not weird." She explained.

Chika blushed again and tried to think of how to respond. She liked You too, but was it really ok for a trader like her to be with the princess? They were both just standing there, blushing, and staring at each other nervously. "I like you too... but shouldn't you be wanting to get with a prince or another princess?" She asked. You shook her head "I can be with whoever I want to be with as long as I'm happy." She said.

Then You kissed Chika's cheek "And I have a strong feeling that I'll be happy as long as I'm with you." She said. Chika smiled and pecked You on the lips "I'll be with you then, You-chan." She said confidently. You smiled too "In that case, you should go home and bring all your stuff thats important to you. You'll be living here from now on!" She said.

Chika nodded "I'll be back soon then" she promised and touched foreheads with You. Then she ran out of the castle and back towards her house. She couldn't believe her luck. She had gotten a girlfriend, but it wasn't just any girl. She got to be with You-chan! The princess of the nearby Kingdom.
