(Sorry that this chapter took so long! Thanks for being patient. I tried a new thing in this chapter where I switch character perspectives a few times, so sorry if it gets a little confusing.)

You quickly froze. A small chill went down her spine as she realized how bad she had messed up. She and Chika had gotten into a little argument, and You had let her emotions get to the better of her, and she had ended up saying something she hadn't meant to say. Something hurtful ... as soon as they came out of her mouth, she instantly regretted it. Chika looked shocked to hear it and then her eyes started tearing up.

She ran away before You could even try to apologize. "Chika-chan, wait!" She called out, but Chika ignored her and kept running. She had really messed things up... she paused for a second and ran after Chika. She had to fix things before they got worse. Chika ran into a crowd of people. You tried to follow her, but the crowd of people weren't wanting to budge so it took her a about a minute to get past them. Once she did, she looked ahead, but Chika was already gone.

You looked back at the crowd. It didn't look like Chika was there anymore. She ran around more, hoping she could find Chika before she got home. She wasn't having any luck though. After a half hour of searching, she gave up and went home. When she got home, her mom tried to talk to her, but she just waved and kept walking until she got to her room. She laid down on her bed and stared at the ceiling, wondering how she could fix the problem.

She not only ruined her friendship with Chika, but also missed her opportunity to confess to her. "Theres no way she'd want to be with me now..." You mumbled and put her pillow over her face. She had to think of an apology and apologize to Chika as soon as possible. She tried to send Chika an apology text, but didn't get a response.

You stayed up all night trying to think of a way to help Chika. Once the sun started to rise, she finally fell asleep. While she was asleep, Chika woke up at her house. She couldn't stop thinking about what had happened the day before. "You-chan... I didn't even know you could say something like that..." she mumbled. She tried to stop thinking about it, and finally ended up just having to go outside and try to clear her head.

She walked around for a while, still unable to think of anything else. She wondered how You was doing. Maybe You was really mad at her. She shivered a little at the thought of that. She wasn't mad at You, she was just upset. She cared about You too much to be mad at her. She even liked You in a romantic way, but she wasn't sure if she should tell her, she had been worried that it might ruin their friendship. She had no clue what their relationship was at the moment. Just friends that were slightly upset with each other? Or... were they just acquaintances now? She really hoped that wasn't the case!

She had brought a mikan with her, so she sat down on a bench and started peeling it so she could eat it. It suddenly got a bit dark outside. Chika looked up and noticed dark gray clouds were starting to cover the sky and were blocking the sun. She had forgotten to check the weather, so she wasn't sure if it was going to rain soon or not. She didn't have an umbrella, so hopefully it wouldn't rain. She got up and start walking home just to be safe.

It started raining quickly. It wasn't just rain, there was thunder too. The thunder was loud enough to wake You up. She sat up and looked out a window. It was really raining. She suddenly felt that she really needed to go see Chika. She had to apologize. She didn't want Chika's feelings to be hurt anymore. She just wanted to see Chika smile and be able to hug her... maybe she could even confess and kiss her. She missed Chika so much it was almost overwhelming.

She quickly left her room, grabbed an umbrella, and left the house. She ran faster than she had ever run before. She was running towards Chika's house. Luckily, there was strong wind blowing in the direction she was running, so that also helped her go faster. She kept running until she could see Chika's house in the distance. Then she saw Chika running towards her house. She guessed that Chika had gone on a walk or something. She tried to call out to Chika, but her voice wasn't loud enough with all the rain and thunder.

Chika kept running back to her house. She could see it and couldn't wait to get back inside and maybe wrap herself in a blanket to get warm. She was just looking at her house and not paying attention to the ground, so she accidentally tripped on a rock and fell. She was able to put her hands down in time to protect her face, but her hands got scratched up, and so did her legs. She sat up and looked at the ground, trying to not try.

Suddenly, no more rain was hitting her. She looked up and saw You holding an umbrella and looking down at her with a worried expression. "Chika-chan! Are... you ok?" You asked while panting. She seemed out of breath, like she had just run a lot. "I-I'm ok... w-why are you panting, You-chan?" Chika asked. "I ran all the way here to apologize to you... Chika-chan, I'm really sorry! I didn't mean what I said, and I shouldn't have said it. I've felt bad about it the whole time, and I miss seeing your smile". You said.

Chika started crying. She got up and hugged You tightly. You guessed that meant that she was forgiven. She dropped the umbrella and hugged Chika back and gently stroked her hair with one hand to try to calm her down. You gently hummed one of Aqour's songs and smiled. Getting to hug Chika was making her really happy. It also felt like a massive weight had been lifted off her chest since she had gotten to apologize to Chika.

Feeling You stroke her hair and hearing her hum a song was helping Chika calm down a lot. She cried for another minute, then she was able to completely calm down. "Thanks, You-chan." She said and rubbed her eyes. Getting completely caught up in the moment, Chika leaned closer to You and kissed her. After a few seconds, she realized what she was doing and panicked a little. What if You hated that?! But... she felt You kiss her back and hold her close.

Even in the cold rain, they were both feeling happy and warm. The kiss ended and they both smiled at each other. "You/Chika-chan, I love you!" They both said at the same time, then they both giggled. "Since it's raining, you can stay at my house for the rest of the day. You can borrow some of my clothes so you'll have something dry to wear." Chika offered. You nodded. "Thanks." She said. Then they walked towards Chika's house, completely forgetting the umbrella even existed. The umbrella had ended up in a bush, and they walked right past it and into Chika's warm house.

You was glad that she had not only fixed their relationship, but she also got to confess to Chika, even if Chika had kinda beat her to it. She was going to try her best to never again make the same mistake of not being careful with what she said. Seeing Chika being happy was what made her happy too.
