Jealous Chika X You

(Thank you, AngelMartinez760344 for another request! This will be similar to a scene in the actual over the rainbow movie, but also with a lot of differences to fit this story better).

After the first years wouldn't let Chika look through the window at a cafe, her curiosity grew really strong. She ran out of the cafe with Riko quickly following after her, and the ran to where the the first years were looking at. Then she saw something that made her completely freeze. She had stopped running, and her expression was frozen too. Riko looked at her with confusion and then looked towards where Chika was looking and froze too.

Chika saw the one thing that she thought would only happen in her nightmares. In front of her, You was talking to some taller boy with black hair and purple eyes. You was smiling and giggling at something he said, and looked like she was really happy to be talking with whoever it was. She quickly turned to Riko and pinched her cheeks, and Riko did the same to her. "This must be a dream, right?" She asked Riko. "Yeah, just a dream, it has to be." Riko agreed. They both could not believe what they just saw.

Yoshiko ran over and made them stop pinching each other's cheeks then turned their heads. "No, that guy is real." She said with a deadpanned expression. "Right..." Chika and Riko both muttered. You and the random guy started walking, so everyone followed them. Chika felt herself tearing up. If only she had told You her feelings sooner, maybe You would have gotten with her instead of that random guy. But, she also knew that You might have said no. Maybe You only saw her as a friend?

Chika was getting really jealous. If she couldn't be with You-chan, she didn't want some random guy to be with her either. You turned around and they all quickly hid somewhere to not get noticed. Chika peaked up a little from her hiding spot and glared at the guy. She was really tempted to throw a mikan at him with all her might and tell him to go away, but she knew that would make You upset, so she just had to keep watching and glaring.

You turned back around and kept walking, so everyone left their hiding spots and kept following her. Chika glanced closely at their hands to make sure they weren't holding hands, and luckily they weren't. After a few seconds, You got suspicious and turned around again. So everyone had to quickly
hide yet again. "Whoever that guy is... he should have picked someone else besides You-chan..." Chika mumbled unhappily.

Riko was hiding beside her. "They might just be friends. I think You-chan would have told us if she was in a relationship." She whispered. "Didn't you see the way she was smiling and giggling at him? It looked like she really liked him." Chika whispered back. She looked really upset. Riko gave her a sympathetic smile. "I know you have a huge crush on You-chan, but if they are together, we can't try to stop them. That would be rude and disrespecting You-chan's feelings." She said.

Chika looked surprised. "H-How'd you know that I like You-chan?" She asked. "It was really obvious... I've noticed you blushing while looking at her, and if you didn't have a crush on her, you wouldn't be as upset about her being with that guy as you are." Riko explained. "Oh..." Chika said and was quiet after that. She realized You had started walking again, so they quickly followed after her. Yoshiko took a pink bear (I think thats what it is) sign with her.

They got a bit farther, and then, once again, You turned around and looked suspicious. They quickly hid again, and Yoshiko set down the bear sign and hid behind it. You still looked suspicious, so Yoshiko quickly made a cat meow noise. "Oh, I guess it was just a cat." You said after hearing the meow. Then she turned around and continued walking with the guy.

Yoshiko misjudged how soon she could leave her hiding spot. She stood up and picked the pink bear back up. Everyone else tensed up a little since they knew she was going to caught. Yoshiko had her eyes closed and let out a sigh of relief. "That was a close one, we almost got caught." She said, but then You walked over to her with a expression that showed she was irritated but trying to smile. "Hi, Yoshiko-chan." She said, sounding a bit annoyed.

Yoshiko panicked and put the pink bear in front of her face. "This number is not available right now, please call back again later." She said quickly, hoping to not get scolded by You. Then the guy walked over. "Whats going on, You-chan?" He asked in a voice that sounded feminine. Hearing that voice confused Chika a little. She had been expecting to hear a deeper masculine voice. You turned and looked at the guy. "Sorry, Tsuki-chan." She apologized. "Tsuki..? Who?.." Everyone asked. "Oh, right, I never introduced you." You said to Tsuki. Then she looked at everyone else. "Everyone, this is my cousin, Tsuki-chan." She said.

Tsuki took off her hat and let her hair fall down. Then she saluted them.  "Yep, I'm Tsuki. Ahoy!" She said and smiled. Everyone sighed with relief and fell over. Chika teared up again. "Thank goodness!" She shouted and ran over to You and hugged her. "Chika-chan? Whats wrong?" You asked and looked a bit surprised by the sudden hug. "I thought you  got a boyfriend. I was so worried!" Chika said and hugged you tighter.

You giggled "Don't worry, Chika-chan, I'm not going to ever get a boyfriend." She said and hugged Chika back. "R-really?" Chika asked. You smiled "Yep! Theres a girl that I like. I've known her for a while and she's my best friend." She said and looked a bit embarrassed. "Who is it? I-It's not Riko-chan, is it?" Chika asked and looked nervous. Riko walked over to them. "Chika-chan, You-chan is talking about you!" She said and sighed.

"Me...?" Chika asked and looked at You, who nodded and blushed a little. "I hope that doesn't bother you." You said. "N-no, of course it doesn't! I love you too, You-chan!" Chika said. Then they both blushed and just stared at each other with embarrassed expressions, neither was sure of what to do. Tsuki gave You a little shove towards Chika and smiled at her. "Come on, You-chan. You've liked Chika for a long time, and nows your chance to be with her." She said.

You smiled back at Tsuki then she leaned her face towards Chika's and kissed her. Chika happily kissed her back. The kiss lasted about a minute and included everyone else cheering and congratulating them. Then Tsuki hugged You and Chika. "I'm so happy for you both. You-chan always talks about she's been too nervous to confess to you." Tsuki said. You's face turned red and she gave Tsuki a glare. "That was supposed to be a secret!" She said. Tsuki giggled. "Oh, right. Sorry, You-chan." She said. Then everyone else started giggling too.

"Jeez..." You sighed and closed her eyes. Chika put her hand on You's cheek. "It's alright, You-chan. If either of my sisters were here, they'd say that I always talked about the exact same thing." She said when You opened her eyes again. You smiled at Chika. "I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one too nervous to confess." She said. Chika was really glad that You hadn't actually gotten a boyfriend. Now that she was with You, she wouldn't have to worry or get jealous anymore.
