Love Lyrics

You met up with Chika and Riko on the bus and they all sat on the bus. She noticed that Chika seemed a bit down. Chika sighed with her eyes closed and put her hands on her own cheeks. "Whats wrong Chika-chan?" You asked. "I'm having a hard time thinking of any lyrics and Riko already gave me a due date of three days from now!" Chika whined. "If I don't give you a due date, you'll never get the lyrics done." Riko defended herself.

"Making lyrics for a love song is really hard since I've never been in a relationship before!" Chika continued to whine. "Well, maybe you can make the lyrics with feelings of love that come from things other than a relationship. Like love you have towards your family, or feelings you have for someone you have a crush on." You suggested. "Thats a great idea! Since you have good ideas, you should come over today and help me today, You-chan." Chika said.

"You just want her to make the lyrics for you." Riko figured out Chika's plan. "F-fine! I'll write them, but it would still be nice for You-chan to come over and give me some suggestions." Chika said. "Sure. I'll go to your house with you after practice." You agreed. She wanted to spend more time with Chika. She hoped her feelings for Chika wouldn't be too obvious if she had to give suggestions for a love song.

They got to school and the day was pretty normal. During lunch Chika got out her lyrics notebook to show You what she had so far. There was just one line. It wasn't even a very good sentence. "How about we restart the lyrics completely at your house later?" You suggested. "Is this no good?" Chika asked. You and Riko both shook their heads. Chika pouted and erased the sentence.

Soon it was time for practice. They just did some stretches and exercises since Chika still needed to make the song, and the song would need music and a dance for it. After practice, You walked to Chika's house with her. "So, do you have a crush on anyone?" You asked. "I do.. but I won't tell you who it is! You know them really well, so you'll probably end up teasing me." Chika said. "And what about you, You-chan? Do you have a crush on anyone?" She asked.

"Yes... but if you won't tell me who you like, I won't tell you who I like." You replied. "Awww! I really wanna know now." Chika said. "Not telling." You replied and grinned. Then they both giggled and finally arrived at Chika's house. They were greeted by Shiitake who was in the front yard in front of her dog house and happily panting. They both walked over and gave her a pat on the head "Good afternoon Shiitake-chan." You said. Shiitake barked in response.

Then they went inside and went to Chika's room. They sat down at the small table in her room and Chika opened her lyrics notebook to the page she had been working on. The sentence she had erased was faintly there. "I know it's a love song, but maybe it would help to have a more specific theme. Like, a love song about your feelings for the person you like, or a song about the places you'd want to go and things you'd want to do with the person you like." You suggested.

"That might help! I knew it was a good idea to have you come help me You-chan!" Chika said. "Maybe I could do a little bit of all of that. I could start the song by expressing my feelings, then I could come up with things I'd want to do. Like going on dates and stuff!" Chika said. She grabbed her notebook and started writing stuff down. You watched her and smiled. She was glad Chika was making some progress. She wished the song was about her though.

After about ten minutes of writing, Chika was tapping her chin with her pencil. "I want to try explaining what a hug feels like.. but it's been a while since I hugged someone. Can I hug you You-chan?" She asked. "Of course. Especially if it'll help with the lyrics." You said. Then Chika walked to her and gave her a big hug. You hugged her back. "I think the hug feels comfy and reassuring." Chika said. "What do you think of the hug You-chan? Maybe you can come up with some better words." She asked. "I think it feels warm and calming. It makes me happy." You replied. She hoped that just sounded friendly.

"That works! Thanks You-chan!" Chika said and let go of her. Then Chika started writing quickly in her notebook again. You was a bit disappointed the hug had ended so quickly, but she didn't say anything. A few minutes later, Chika had another request. "Sorry You-chan, but now I'm stuck on trying to think of something that would make my heart pound so I can describe the feeling better. Can you think of anything?" Chika asked.

"Hmm... well, theres no need to apologize, Chika-chan, since I'm here to help after all. Give me a sec to think of something." You said. Then she thought of something. It was risky, but maybe Chika would just think she was doing it to help with the lyrics. She scooted over to Chika and pushed her over so Chika was laying down. Then she got on top of Chika and passionately kissed her. "M-mh?" Chika made muffled noise in surprise, but kissed You back and blushed.

You put a hand on Chika's cheek and continued to kiss her. She wasn't sure if she would get to kiss Chika again, so she wanted to fully enjoy the kiss. She pressed her tongue against Chika's lips. Chika opened her mouth and You put her tongue into Chika's mouth. They were both starting to run out of air, so You lifted herself up. While catching her breath, she looked down at Chika and saw her panting and blushing.

"Ch-Chika-chan! I'm so sorry! I went too far didn't I?" You asked and sounded panicked. She had forgotten a normal friend wouldn't try to go that far with kissing. Chika caught her breath and smiled "It's ok You-chan. I did request for you to make my heart pound after all, and you did just that. But... the person you have a crush on... is it me?" Chika asked. You internally panicked. She had definitely kissed Chika too passionately and now Chika knew!

You looked away from Chika and nodded. Chika smiled softly "Well, the person I have a crush on, is actually you, You-chan. I like you too." She said. You looked at Chika again and hugged her tightly, she burrowed her face in Chika's chest. "I love you Chika-chan." You said. "I love you too, You-chan." Chika said kissed the top of You's head. Then You got off of Chika "Ready to keep working on the lyrics?" She asked. "Yep! I think I can finish them now." Chika agreed.

They soon had all the lyrics finished. You read them and gave Chika a thumbs up of approval. You was glad she had come over to help Chika make lyrics.
