The Barn Cats

So Shire and Fern ran out of the woods bursting through the chickens and into the barn, Cody sat on a wooden box cleaning himself. Cow was eating a rabbit. "I did it! I caught something!" Fern shouted. Cow quickly raised her head in hearing these words. "Great Fern!' she said, "i'm so proud of you." Cow gave Fern a quick lick on her head, and Cody nudged her up more. "I'll go again, and again!" She said. "Good. You can do as many times you'd like, Winter's coming and we need someone who loves hunting." Shire laughed. Cow started eating the rabbit again and Randy came and sat outside the barn. "Fern's a lot like Cody," He said. "What, because she's hyper like him?" Shire said. "Yeah," Randy continued.

"Look, look another one!"Fern said after catching so much prey it made Shire jealous.
