🎁 Blake Christian – Dec. 3, 2014

Working at the mall is quite hectic, which is understandable since holiday season is when the mall gets the most attention. But thank goodness I didn’t get a job working at a store here because those jobs require more hours. Another perk to having this elf job is that my only hours are from ten in the morning to three in the afternoon, sure, there isn’t a lunch break but five hours of telling kids to ‘go ahead and meet Santa’ doesn’t work up that much of an appetite.

It was my third day working, and though I still hated this job I enjoyed having good coworkers – well, having two good coworkers since Mr. British seems to have this goal on annoying me anytime we’re within ten feet of each other. I’m just glad that I don’t have to stand near him like Joe and Fae do.

But of course, that had to end.

Because after quickly rushing into the dressing room, I was a few minutes late due to my alarm clock not going off – I honestly blame Fate – , to reveal only two of my coworkers. A frown set on my lips as I slipped my phone into my back pocket. “Where’s Joe?”

“He got sick,” Fae answers taking a quick glance at me through the mirror before looking back to her reflection and continuing her elf make-up – consisting of rosy red circles for cheeks and freckles. “Ted came in here earlier and said that you’ll stand in Joe’s  place while he takes over yours.”

“Why can’t Ted take over Joe’s place?” I ask incredulously, taking a glance at Liam who watched me with an amused smirk.

“He doesn’t have a costume,” Fae answers with a shrug before turning around and narrowing her eyes on Liam. “Dude, you’ve been in here for twenty minutes, you should be done by now.”

“Sorry, I get distracted every time I see Blake,” he replies not taking his eyes off of me. I roll my eyes and flip off, quickly getting my things and heading to the stalls. “Give me a time and place, beautiful!”

After  the terrible morning, and a long five hours full of shameless flirting and small touches – every time I’d turn my head Liam’s hand would subtly graze my back – all on Liam’s part, I walk with Fae back to the dressing room. Liam had already gone ahead of us, but not before grazing his hand down to my butt as he passed.

“Liam totally has a crush on you!” Fae gushed after there was a fair distance between us and jolly old St. Nick. I huffed and folded my arms, not caring about the children who passed and saw a grumpy elf – okay, I did care and I felt bad but right now Liam was getting on my last nerve.

“Yeah, I highly doubt that.” Was the only thing I got to say before dropping the subject because we entered the dressing room, Liam already in his normal clothes and is fixing his hair. When he heard the door slam, he glanced at us in the reflection a mischievous smirk forming on his lips as we locked eyes.

“I really hope Joe is back tomorrow,” I mumble grumpily walking toward my locker only to reveal an empty locker. My eyes narrowed as I spun around to see Liam leaning against the other, unoccupied, lockers with his arms folded.

   “Looking for something, babe?”

(A/N): Oh my gosh, I love Liam so much! I love making the boys cheeky, because it’s so much fun to write. And it amuses me that Blake and Liam are opposites, he’s flirty and she’s blunt – nice combination eh? But seriously, Blake won’t hate Liam forever because I will give you all some fluff to read this Christmas. Hope you liked it! x

Please vote, fan and comment – and maybe lick a Liam poster because why not?

P.S. the lovely Liam Payne is off to the side/top (this is his 'current' look in the story)
