🎁 Blake Christian – Dec. 6, 2014

The next morning, Fate’s words were still swirling in my mind and it did that while I brushed my teeth, ate breakfast, drove to work and entered the dressing room. You just hate that he’s ignoring you because you have a crush on him. Quietly, I removed my scarf and beanie while giving Fae a half-hearted smile before returning my gaze back to the floor. I only looked up when I passed Liam, meeting his eyes for a brief second before he sighed and looked away, into his locker.

You have a crush on him, that annoying voice in my mind repeated for the umpteenth time. I shook that thought away because no, I did not like Liam because I just met him! I don’t know anything about him rather than the obvious – from England, named Liam Payne, is Santa for a prestigious mall, is very flirty and not a fan of revenge. And I wouldn’t like someone like him, yeah.

I didn’t even take my time on getting ready, I quickly grabbed my things, got dressed and was about to exit the stall only to hear the one to my right being occupied. I glanced at the small gap between the stalls and noticed a Santa suit being placed on the floor.

This could be my only chance.

Huffing silently, I slowly got down on my hands and knees and slid into the next stall, startling Liam so much the he hit his arm against the wall and shouted, “What the hell, Blake?!”

“Desperate times call for desperate measures,” I said to him, leaning against the door of the stall. His shocked face then morphed into one of neutrality – much like I had seen yesterday. He was still in his normal clothes, although his belt was undone signaling that he was probably going to take his pants off before I had crawled into his stall. “Listen, I’m really sorry about the I pulled. I didn’t know that my revenge for you taking my clothes would upset you.”

   He blinked at me.

Shifting slightly, I shrugged. “I know that it seemed like I hated you but when you ignored me, I kind of missed your flirtatious ways. I think I’m completely out of my mind or something because of that. I’m really sorry, Lia – ”

Before I could finish my apology, Liam was using the door behind me to place his palm as he doubled over in laughter. My eyebrows quickly shot up at the sound of this. It was about two minutes before his laughter had subsided, before he wiped the tears away from his eyes and gave me a sideways smirk.

“Babe, I’m not upset,” he chided shaking his head as another small laugh bubbled from his lips. “I was never upset.”

“T-then why did you ignore me?” I questioned, not noticing that his palm was still beside me, and our bodies inches apart. When did he get closer to me?

“That was all part of the plan,” he said leaning closer to me, I could smell his cologne. “Sure, I would’ve loved to taste your lips but it was more amusing to watch you realize how much you actually like me.”

   “I-I – ”

“You don’t need to lie, Blake.” He gave me an award winning smile, his forehead gazing mine. Why the heck is my heart beating faster? Because he’s right, you like him. “It was only a matter of time before you fell for me. I guess it was sooner than later.”

I fell right into his trap – great.

(A/N): Aye, look at that all that ignoring was part of Liam’s plan. I think he’s an evil genius. And oh my gosh, Blake, you can’t just walk into Liam’s stall like that – you should’ve at least waited until his like, shirt was off or something (oh my gosh, I’m totally kidding – or am I?). So, I hope you liked this chapter because they’re talking again (even if it’s only been like, a day)!

Please vote, fan, comment – maybe shave an otter because why not?
