🎁 Blake Christian – Dec. 9, 2014
I wish that I had somehow come down with the flu the morning of December eighth but to my luck, I hadn’t. And to add to this ‘luck’ I was asked by Ted to work the camera. Honestly, I didn’t think much of it in the beginning. I simply shrugged it off and changed into the red sweater and leggings I had dressed in this morning, Ted said that my attire was fine to work the camera. But I should’ve figured that something would happen because something did.
I experienced Liam Payne working with kids.
Not only was he working with kids but he had a genuine smile, and made them giggle and sure, they may have giggled just because they were talking to “Santa” and that he talked in a ridiculous voice but they still giggled nonetheless and the sight it was just so… so enduring to see. This is something girls should not ever see, guys getting being all sweet and good with children – it should be illegal.
Every time I’d see him interact with a child, I couldn’t fight the smile off my face. I couldn’t wipe it off even when Liam would look up at me, telling the boy or girl to look over as well so that I could take the picture. And of course, every child will listen to “Santa” because they want to be on the Nice List.
When I’d take the picture, I had a feeling that Liam was staring at me rather than the camera and that didn’t help my already increasing heartbeats.
After our shift, Liam walked me to my car once again. I sat in the driver’s seat, looking up to Liam after I buckled my seat belt. He gave a half smile – not a smirk, but a half smile. “So, kids are your weakness, eh?”
Although I don’t know why, I blushed and looked at the steering wheel. “That’s one of the reasons I took the job.”
“Amazing, someone who is so rude has a soft spot for kids,” he mused making me frown. I was so close to actually thinking him of being a good guy. “I never would’ve thought.”
I rolled my eyes and started rolling up the window. “Go away.”
I didn’t tell anything to Fate during dinner. Nor did I tell her anything the next morning, a frown on my lips as I realized that I’ll have to face Liam again and I was so not looking forward to it. Hopefully, I’d be in my original spot again because I couldn’t handle seeing him interact with kids.
And when I arrived, got dressed as quickly as I could all while ignoring Liam, I finally had luck on my side for the photographer had returned and I had my old spot back. A place where I could easily not look at Liam Payne.
“You’re a confusing one.” I heard a voice beside me muse. I turned around to see Joe with a small grin, hands stuffed into the pockets sewed onto the elf outfit. “One day you’re ignoring Liam’s existence the next you’re all up on each other.”
I rolled my eyes and nudged him with my shoulder. “We are not ‘all up on each other’. There are just some days were I can actually stand him.”
“Love hate relationships are the worst,” he said before patting my back and running up ahead to start a conversation with Fae. I huffed, tired of everyone pestering me about Liam f*cking Payne.

(A/N): again, not a fan of cursing so… anyways, I hope you liked this chapter because guess what, some good stuff is coming in the next chapter – or will there? I could be lying. Anyways, awe LiLi with kids! That’s such a wonderful sight and yeah, I wouldn’t be able to resist him I honestly don’t understand what’s up with Blake. Aye, and look, Joe speaks! It’s been a while since he’s spoken. Hope you liked it!
