🎁 Blake Christian – Dec. 20, 2014

Liam and I took our time to leave my apartment. Not because we wanted to delay our department from the place but because Fate would not let us hear the end of it, thinking that Liam and I had “did it” last night. We didn’t, it was a simple sleep over but no matter how many times I told her that, she didn’t believe it. I eventually gave up and hurried Liam so we could drive to his apartment so he could get dressed and brush his teeth.

I was sat on his bed as he ran around his room, we had five minutes to get to work. And I guess this could’ve been a good thing because Liam didn’t even excuse himself from the room to change, nope, he just changed right in front of me and that definitely changed my mood from this morning’s argument with Fate.

This made me get a flash back from when we first interacted.

“Hey, Liam?” I question as he tosses the shirt he was wearing to the end of his bed. He looks up to me but doesn’t keep my gaze as he looks frantically for another shirt. He mumbles a ‘hmmm’. “How come when we first met you were such a flirt?”

He stopped all movement then. He looked at me before glancing to the clock. “No time for that, we have five minutes.”

He didn’t give me the answer at all that day. So when the next day came rolling around, I was sure that I’d pester it out of him and I’ve gained that talent from Fate always pestering answers out of me. I went to work early, making me the first to arrive at the dressing room and I sat by Liam’s locker, already dressed minus the fact that I haven’t done my hair or makeup – I always ask Fae to do that for me because she is like a wizard with hair and makeup.

To my surprise, Liam was the next person to enter the dressing room. He was completely startled to see me there. His hair was in total disarray and cheeks flushed – it was unbearably cold and windy today.

“Hey, Blake,” he greets but I know he’s hesitant to be alone with me because of what I’d asked him yesterday. He has avoided the topic too much for my liking. He observes, “You’re here surprisingly early.”

“We need to talk,” I tell him once he stands in front of me, eyes trained on unlocking his locker. He doesn’t say anything. ”You haven’t answered my question from yesterday.”

“You asked a question?” He asked feigning curiosity.

I huffed and rolled my eyes. “I did. I asked why you were such a flirt when we first met. And please don’t avoid the question, it can’t be that bad.”

Turning to me, Liam gave me a sigh and leaned his back against the locker. “Originally, I only flirted with you to you know… sleep with you because that’s how I got fit girls. But right from the moment we first made eye contact, I knew you were different but I just didn’t admit it then. And then I started falling for you, hard, so I toned down the flirting because I acknowledged the feelings I had for you from day one.” He pauses to look at the floor before meeting my eyes again. “Please don’t be upset.”

I shook my head and looked away from him. “I’m not upset, I’m glad you told me.”

(A/N): this is a day late but whatever! So now you know why Liam was such a flirt in the beginning it’s because he wanted to get with Blake but yay for him falling for her quickly and hard. Please notice since this is a fluff story and Blake is not like many girls, she’s honestly going to blow his past intentions into something huge. Past is in the past and she is not overdramatic. Liam is genuine so, yeah. I hope you liked it!
